ive been doing research and can see they love the cooler temps to room temp. but in the summer i have some heat spikes in my home, my room can get to 83 degrees F. though i would imagine it would be cooler in the enclosure, but lets say they are subject to temps of almost mid 80s for a few hours, would that be harmful?

nahh nah 83 is acceptable. I would not let the temps get higher then 85
