I’m really wanting to buy one of these but every review I have seen know one shows how quick the water escapes through the outlet and if you have to still stand in water when you have finished showering I know it’s a minor detail but I have the quick pitch shower tent and it’s only about the same size as the drifta shower bass it would be difficult to dry off and get dressed if you are still standing in water I know the new Stockton shower tent is much bigger than the drifta shower bass so it’s not a problem with it thanks for sharing if you could show this I would love to see it 👍
I found when using it that the water does tend to sit in the base somewhat. How I drain it is that I pick it up from the corner and drain it that way. The shorter the hose the quicker it drains. I know that it sounds logical. Thanks for watching.
While you are at Bunnings getting the sully hose, pick up a large duck board. These are great. Or two smaller ones and add a hinge so you can pack it up.
Thanks for watching. The cost for the base is $199.00 and the bag is $39.00 plus postage. The best thing if you are close to a Drifta store is to pop in and buy it to save postage. Or if you are going to buy a few things from Drifta order them all at once. Thanks, Ed
It's a fantastic item this one you can get them sent to the US from here. I'll just attach the website link for you and give it a shot. I don't know what it's gonna cost you for shipping but you never know. Thanks for watching www.drifta.com.au/
I made mine out of a "spill containment berm" and a plumbing fitting. They use them when filling from an oil barrel, if there is hydraulic fluid leaks in fork lifts, etc. They aren't cheap but if you are handy... ?
There is absolutely no reason why not if you're wanting to do that. I always take that little bit of extra water for my shower if I need to thanks for watching I see the next video
The reason I don't have a kids plastic paddling pool is because it won't fit in the camper it's all about utilising the space that I have thanks for watching
@@eds4wdcamping I had a good quality one that lasted for 10 summers as a paddling pool for the children that took some beating and the repair kit was never used, Using it in the bush I presume you pick a decent spot and don't throw it around, but kept in your shower tent.

Nice video mate. Love your energy in this one.
It was done the first thing in the morning so I was wide awake. Did you see the special cameo in the background.
@@eds4wdcamping I thought that Bloke looked familiar haha.
Hi just saw your RUclips clip I liked it how much do they go for mate 👍🇦🇺

Yet another Drifta product on my wish list lol. Cheers Steve
Yea I know the list just gets longer.😃
wow! this is exactly what I am looking for. how can I get one for these in the USA?

I forgot to tell you I had a wee in your shower. haha. Good review Ed.
Why does that not surprise me.
I'll lend you some dettol..... lol
The bromance is real here. Please do another group video. 🥓🍷
@@LockyourHubs4WDing My wee is like dettol.
@@karenduff9724 We are about due. 😃
Very nice shower base !
I got to use it that weekend and it works fantastic.
I was thinking it would be great to recycle shower water through a filter if you really wanted to conserve your water usage...

Loved the intro! Lol
One time use of the intro.
The drain hole is too high, should be closed to the base floor for water to drained out
Be surprised how much water can drain out of that hole. If you see the shower right you don't have to worry about it at all. Thanks for watching
Why not just use a kids plastic paddling pool much cheaper and if looked after properly fairly durable.

@@eds4wdcamping You don't fit it in the camper inflated, well us Brits don't.
@@grahamjohnson4702 Hi Graham I didn't think you meant an inflatable one but to be honest I wouldn't last five minutes in the bush here in Oz 😁
