- Welcome to my world of painting all my jet camo, this is my latest jet, the Mig 17 90mm. A great fun and easy flying jet, my first 90mm i have ever flown. Please SUBSCRIBE AND SUPPORT THE CHANNEL.

Professional 6S 90mm 12-bladed EDF system w/ 3541-1550KV brushless outrunner motor and 120A HV ESC w/ 5A UBEC
Functional air-brakes and split flaps

Pre-installed digital metal geared servos (12x) and landing gears
Battery bay fits 4000-5200mAh battery

Thanks I been painting my jets for almost 2 years now and I have a good formula working now for edf jets, wait til you see what I have coming.

Check two things:
1. Gear fully glued in
2. Fan nut fully secured and loctited
Was flying mine off grass and the gear ripped out on landing after about a dozen flights. They were not glued in very well.
Also had the fan spin off on throttle up after about 20 flights. Fortunately it happened on the ground during throttle up before take off. Minor foam damage in the duct but had to replace the fan as a blade broke off.
Contacted Banana on both instances but they didn't offer any help.
Also, the ESC doesn't like HVLi batteries so I use only regular lipos.
Other than that great flying EDF.

Nice paint scheme on your Mig17. Are you using acrylic or what kind of paint.. and did you just paint over the stickers or your remove it then paint. I have an old Freewing Mig 21 in silver, and thinking about giving it some camouflage. Thanks.
Thanks for watching , I was given this jet as a gift and it was beat up , now understand I paint all my jets camo , so I chose a sceme of a real one and with this one, I used Krylon rattle can camo colors, first and only time I have , otherwise I airbrush my jets. And then apply a matte finish hardener to protect it , then ,calle graphics for the decals and then another coat of hardener to protect them , and that's what I did with this Mig. It's a great jet to fly at events. Subscribe and like for more stuff I have coming out soon to the channel, Russ !
