Oh man I've been waiting for this one for a long time now. You seemed to kind of have developed your own approach to hybrid picking, I wonder if you have any hints on that. As in how to develop your own sound on techniques that are used by many guitarists(would be awesome to watch a vid with your take on that). PS Once again great vid, great quality and congrats on the Abasi Concepts gig man :)
thanks man! I think it's just about making everything you learn your own by experimenting with variations of that. try to go in depth everytime you learn something and try to take away as much as you can from it, whether it's a lick, a song, a concept, or whatever.
Would love to know details on your fingernails if you do anything specific to them, coming from classical guitar im struggling to find the right balance of nail length/shape for electric hybrid picking
I also come from classical guitar, I used to have long nails and I think they're the best for hybrid picking. now they're shorter but I still pluck the strings with my nails mostly. I also still do the sand paper thing that classical guitarists do, helps a lot with the technique
@@giuseppegilardi awesome thanks! What sort of shape do you go for on your nails with this technique? Do you use a ramped shape or do you find the longer in the center style works better for you?
😀love it .if u could breakdown some lick using the same concept than it would really help us thankew God bless you😉
Im shitting my pants right now.
Finally, thank you giuseppe!!!
A tone tutorial for this type of sound would be nice.
