They are anodised from factory in Japan
Sand out imperfections and re-anodise if able to, or weld and sand if deep gouged and then ceramic clear 👍🏼

Hi mate ,well I fallowed your steps and I even went to 7000 grit and it looks like a mirror now .my question for you is how to protect it I'm not to happy with clear coat as it can chip so I'd like to wax it with meguiar's ultimate Wax , what is your opinion on this . Fantastic work and thanks if it wasn't for you I'd not have done it .

    • @BrokenSprocket

Thats fantastic I'm happy a video I made has inspired you. I just use metal polish by hand to keep the shine up it only take a few minutes to keep it shiny.

This is by far the hardest part of the build. I’m having a heck of a time getting the inside (tire side) of the arm, with all of the high and low spots.
Any tips on how you pulled it off. All by hand?

Hi mate , I'd just like to say you did a fantastic job on that swingarm , can I ask you a question , I messed up and started with 120 grit to get all the agonising off , I then went to 320 and 400 on am on 600 now but I can still see the bloody scratches from the 120 as I understand now vi should not have went so low , how can I get them out , is it just by going back to say 220 and up to 320 and so on ?. Any help would be much appreciated . I understand I might have a job on my hands now but just would like to know if I can still get it smooth . Cheers pal. Keep up with the great video's . Dylan
