This cobra troop must be the strongest in the squad cause he stands out from the rest.I like the fact that you have more than one option for character customs.
Looking forward to seeing what's covered in this video. I purchased a couple of extra vulcans when target had them clearanced down to $7.50, since I felt the bonecrusher torso & extra hands made it a nice value for future customs; and then picked up a few more when they were still available during target's $25 off $100 toy sales.
I'm glad you took advantage of the deals, Unfortunately I had to crack open the chest for the bonebreaker torso to use the arms I may do a separate video showing what it looks like on the inside. Thanks so much for stopping by and watching my video appreciate it!!
I don't have that figure in hand, but if it has a soft hip that connects with the socket it can be done. Most of the old marvel legends figures were build with a hard plastic in that section which made it difficult to remove without breaking that part and having to super glue it back together. I like to hear what your experience is in your attempt. Thanks for watching!
@@spartan_toy_hunter Thanks! I'm currently planning to make a MCU 838 Mr. Fantastic. Found your video and i loved it! Thanks for the in-depth review!!!
If you cut the leg peg off Vulcan, you can put a screw (with a head that will fit the boot you want to use) in it’s place. I did and put Blue Marvel’s boots on Vulcan’s legs.
Hair dryer will would do the trick, it is the easier of the body parts to remove and switch. Keep adding heat if it doesn't pop off the 1st attempt. Let me know how it goes!
Smart part choices never would have thought of this, would love to see how it looks with the base body dyed black or maybe the whole thing dyed black actually
If I get my hands on the new black panther With the build a figure part The classic look comic book with the movie wave that's the same body mode as this one.
Get a set of digital calipers and a set of drill bits then measure the pegs/ peg hole of the og Joe fig then just drill a hole in the center of Vulcan’s back and boom u got a way to fit it just like the og
Great video but man does it hurt to see you take apart Joe figures I've never been able to find here to use the parts for customs lol. No Classified figures last more than a day here.
When I dyed my Black Widow origins, the one with the white suit, I repainted the neck I realized I had the primer that section so that the paint would stay. Every time I applied the skin tone it would the color would fade.
@@spartan_toy_hunter I picked up some black, and some red Rit (the premixed liquid) dye today. I'm going to try to dye my maggot figure this afternoon. Thanks for the info
Aside from the hilarious shame whispering in your mom's/grandma's etc basement this was absolutely awesome.
Thanks for stopping by watching!!!

Wow genius! The possibilities are endless. My tip for the red undies showing is to cut it off with exact knife, then glue blue diaper on.
Digging your kitbashing look forward to more
On the twins....tomax and xamot ( pronounced saymot)
You are a great action figure customizer! You’re a great kitbasher!
Thank you for the kind word and for watching!!
Can you do a video kitbashing a power rangers lightning collection figure, and Marvel Legend figure.
If it happened to find one at Marshall Ross I can make that happen interesting thanks for the idea
Awesome! Thank to show and get ideas for rookie custmizer!

Cool stuff!! Also, Tomax (Toe-Max) and Xamot (Zay-Mot) Just so ya know. :)
Looks good. Could be a good kitbash base for Krake.
This is great. This is the type of toy videos I would love to see. Just subbed.
Thank you so much and thanks for stopping by I'm hoping to get the next video in the next week.
@@spartan_toy_hunter Sounds great!
Can you swap out the legs of the *GI Joe classified Cobra Officer* and the *"Ant-Man and The Wasp" Ant-Man* figure?

For the water did you use hot straight from the tap or did you heat the water up in the microwave? Is there a certain temperature it should be?
Sorry for the late response I boiled the water through the microwave, I don't Measure the temperature.

Thank you for the idea, thanks to Ross I'll be able to take as many chances as I like. 👍
@@spartan_toy_hunter if an all-thumbs clown like me can get it on the first try, you’ll have no problem
Do you happen to know when they switched to the soft rubbery plastic upper thigh parts on Marvel legends figures?
As far as I know this vulcan figure is the only one, not sure if they're on any other older figures. I would have to check.
Was thinking of swapping two Joes boots what method did you use? How easy or hard would it be for a 100% novice :)

@@spartan_toy_hunter Thanks for the reply will be a few days waiting on the extra figure, didn''t want to ruin a good one hehe.
@@spartan_toy_hunter Worked perfectly even managed to pop off the legs to get the webbing on him :) Thanks for the advice!
❤
Totally broke my marvel legends captain america trying to pop the legs off..
Any advice to break those legs off easier without bending pegs?
@@PapaRainYT what year is it, the older body molds did not allow for the leg to pop out like the Valcun body.
@@spartan_toy_hunter Stealth body variant, not quite sure the yeae
@@PapaRainYT Yes that 1 was from an older mo re issued, You can tell by how hard the plastic is that attaches to the hip joint

Could work as a SHEILD agent if you had a logo for it.
It has potential to be used as a base figure for a custom Fantomex Figure

Why are you whispering ?

What do you use for die?
Rit DyeMore Synthetic Liquid Fiber Dye
@@spartan_toy_hunter really? Is that just for black , and can you easily paint over it afterwards ?

The volume is to low or something.
The cobra legs are a better proportion than the ML legs
They came out better than I expected, I do have an extra croc master on my playground with that and see what I can come up with.
