First Camping Trip with Bella the Boler (Episode 200)

With our preparation work complete (for now!), we head out to Kananaskis Country for our first shakedown cruise with Bella the Boler, our vintage 1978 camper.

Looks like a great camp area. Especially during the week. That's when we camp at state or local campgrounds. Less, er, uh, ahem, visitors there. Quiet and peaceful.
Good areas in Oregon along the mighty Rogue River. Just sayin'.

Never camped along the Rogue. I’ve done the coast multiple times (still where I would like to live one day) and the Columbia River Gorge once.

Good video. Elbow Fall is not what it use to be. We still go there every year to visit family. The tree that is standing upside down in front of the cave got there in 2013 because of the flood.

Yes, the floods really altered the falls a lot. I'm still surprised it had been so long since I had been there. Like I said in the video, always too busy on weekends for my taste.

We really liked it. While we have a desire to always be trying new places, I suspect we'll be back here at some point.
