0:32のとこさ5:59のとこ見ればわかるけど本来はバーナーの火が長くてメーカーの方では短いのしかないのに0:32のとこでわざわざしゃがんでるのは本家ではしゃがまないといけないってとこをメーカーでもしゃがんで再現してるとこプレイ主に愛を感じた。

No one can convince me that this wasnt the best final level in a 2D mario game
I agree, I especially like the gimmick of turning the castle upside down. The boss however was disappointing. You just do the same Bowser and Bowser jr. fights as before, but at the same time. It was pretty underwhelming. NSMB2, Wii and U all had way better bosses in my opinion.
Duck- The Great Western yeah the other bosses were great and original. How could they do original bosses but a lame repetitive final boss fight?
It's sertainly up there with Mario world and Mario Wii
@@sediew At the time being a big Bowser final fight was actually original. Especially when he was paired with Bowser Jr.
@@duck-thegreatwestern4100 Honestly, if you fight the two without Fire or Mega powerups, it's actually pretty tense. Especially since Bowser becomes more aggressive if you defeat Jr first.
It's not the same without the old castle music
or the level flipping after a switch has been pressed
the czar it also felt weird that some burners weren’t long enough but that’s just a small thing. God I loved this castle.
The wii one is better imo so idc
@@teen17 no, lies. The castle of the mario of wii didnt even had any difficulty, and the good part is when bowser becomes giant. In the other hand, the castle of ds had difficulty and you had to fight bowser and jr at the same time.

Everyone here has good memories of this game.
And mine were just bad.
This was, hands down, the HARDEST Mario game I ever beat.
And with a broken bottom screen, the only way to go back to early worlds was to beat the game. That's why I couldn't go back and get more lives or a power-up. I couldn't.

I just remember playing Mario vs Luigi with my pals all day everyday. The only bad memory I have of this game is me and my friends throwing hands over who gets to be Luigi. Other than that, that game was my childhood.
To this day I still don’t fat why people dislike the blue koopa shell so much. It was a lot of fun

If Nintendo made a new 2D Mario game because of the 35th anniversary, they should include a remix of the New Super Mario Bros DS castle music. It's too much underrated and forgotten to be so epic

The DS castle theme is better than the Wii one :^T not that I dislike the wii castle theme but it's not as dramatic and therefore not as fitting for a final castle
Yeah. After I played New Super Mario Bros DS, I fell in love and I am just really sad that now, Nintendo will only be doing bug fixes and possibly just sneak a few blocks in and that's it...
Even though it only said the final major update, I think the next few updates are only going to fix small bugs/glitches. Something like a new game style is pretty major, and highly unlikely.

New Super Mario ds was my first Mario game. I played it when I was 4 and instantly got me obsessed with Mario. I lost the cartridge unfortunately, so I can only remember the good times when I played poker with Luigi or rage at the giant eel. This was probably my favorite Mario game!

Dang I remember playing this game when I was younger, my first mario game ever. I use to have a friend who would always help me on the levels cuz I was dumb lol. Thought playing multiplayer was fun! Too bad my ds doesnt work ;-;

I feel for you regarding the difficulty to recreate the level using SMM2 Mechanics. The room flipping, the ending to pick the exact route to use, and the Boss fight itself are just a few noticeable differences I noticed. Regardless, this was the first of a few games I 100% Completed, so it was nice to see a refreshing take from an updated perspective...
about the "pick the exact route" i know a much more faithfull trick
just place a one way wall leading to spikes

Hmmm, I don't know about the limitations in regards to doors, but maybe, you could get the flip effect to work by placing a p-switch door directly on top of the block, where the room flipping switch is, replacing it with a P-switch. Or a locked door might also work with the key inside the block. Those doors would then lead to the flipped versions of that room.

I think mario maker needs more original mario levels (remakes or not) cause most of the popular levels are crazy kaizos or speedruns , trolls , ect.
