The southern luminant should be extremely swampy, and should add unique creatures like EXTREMELY large gators. The western luminant would be extremely flat with a few mountains and lakes, and it would also introduce horse-like creatures. The northern luminant would be barren, with the highest mountains, and 100% the most dangerous luminant. You would need to bring an entire inventory's worth of food to last in the northern luminant.
I'll add onto this, I think every Luminant should be it's own experience: Southern is sea gameplay and anything that has to do with the ocean, Western is the opposite of the Southern Luminant and is a pure land experience, Eastern Luminant is a mixture of the West and South, the Central Luminant would be about lore and factions and the experience would be centered (no pun intended) around fighting npc's, maybe some npc rebels task you with disrupting the Authority or maybe a faction sends you to gather intel on the Authority? or maybe you go speak with the scholars of Markor. But for the Northern Luminant I think it should be a survival Luminant where in order to get loot and make it out you're build needs to have the correct intelligence stat and talents and the right set of survivalist talents aswell so instead of fighting something in this Luminant you need to fight the weather. (there could be mobs too)

@@dawnstag7267 its just a fun little thing to ponder over yk? and i really, REALLY like the idea of the northern luminant being some kind of minecraft style gameplay but deepwoken. imagine if its just this barren snowy wasteland with just a few resources at hand, and you have to craft your own tools and weapons to survive (ADD BACK WEAPON CRAFTING!!). your goal is to escape the northern luminant and find proper civilization, but there are giant monsters (maybe even elder edenkites for higher leveled players journeying to the northern lum) that grant the players that slay them a huge amount of exp im talking like 2 level ups at level 12 so you kinda have like 2 options, either u gtfo asap with the loot u can scrap or stay there and survive the snow its like really cool
what would be very cool about the southern luminant is that you would have to fish for food eventually so having those fishing talents could help you in your journey, there could be types of fish you could fish up that fight you and drop good loot besides lionfish, mudskippers etc and rare fish that you can make food with that is super good
If the celtorian horror is ever a boss or an encounter later on in the game's development, they could add it to where it would be hard to damage from the outside in phase 1, but easier to damage from the inside-out once it somehow swallows the player in the void sea or in another layer of the depths as a phase 2 to the fight
3:32 interesting idea/take from me is that they add that giant unbeatable beast and once he swallows u, u dont get sent to the depths instead u get tp'd into his stomach and u have to go thru a fleshy dungeon that has a couple mobs/monsters that the beast has swallowed and then after u beat all these monsters or run past them cuz there will be a timelimit before ur digested and then sent to the depths, then u can escape thru like it's idk whale hole idk portal
I think there should be a massive faction that's just located on a ship. Similar to Thriller bark, but every season it's location changes to somewhere new, maybe like 12 locations and it randomises each time, maybe it could be like an overworld divers base
The new pirate faction, not divers, they're called the "Blacksteel Pirates" and they talk about "Jobs" when you kill them so they may be like mercenaries and stuff.

They could make it have unique and valuable loot but its time limit is just small enough to get a bit of it then escape unless you really know what you are doing

i think if they're gonna add something besides central next, it should be northern because northern seems like it would be the biggest challenge and if you could find the edenkite as like basically an overworld yunshul or possibly a way to get knowledge in the overworld, that would make the danger of north luminant worth it

sounds like it'd take 2-3 months tbh, adding new monsters would probably take 1-2 months in itself but the sea events wouldnt be too hard, I'd love a focus on the pirates because if you die to them they have their own faction name.
