Hi Rachel, Thank you. This is the most helpful and sound advice I have found. I've recently started doing my first draft quickly, with no edits. I even successfully used Dragon and Google to dictate some of it. I don't re-read it now, except to see where I am up to and occasionally remind myself of a minor character name. My previous attempts are sitting in a drawer, stalled, waiting patiently. Question:- Do you write a chapter and then tidy it up? Or do you do the whole book first?
Thank you for watching and sorry for my late, late reply. To be honest, it varies. Sometimes I will blast right through the book, but other times, I find I like to go slow and tidy up each chapter as I go.
Really liked this because it's true that you get caught up in everything being perfect and it doesn't need to be.
No and we have to remind ourselves that
One of the best writing advice.
Thank you
