    *Very pleased with **Newest.Technology** the setup , it took a little adjusting on a few of out cameras to keep them from getting a glare at night. Once that was done they looked great! We look forward to adding a few more cameras to our current setup soon!*

    We’ve only had the cameras up and running for a short time. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxOXxsTZ3ptV_Pk0fFl8bNZvVqeoqBQFwe So far we love them! I got the outdoor mounting kit for them and they were easy to install. Once you download the app, it walks you through the very easy set up. The clarity, and range is awesome. I am thinking seriously about adding another camera or two to my 3 camera system. The price is lower than a lot of comparable systems.

    Too technical for me. At home user here. No network administrators to call. Any recommendation for other videos? I need to understand how to setup that static IP address

    Could you provide some examples (names) of IP management software? I've got 13 cameras, and have been using the individual cam setup tools. I've never seen, nor can I find setup/management software. Mostly, I just see viewing/recording software. Currently using Blue Iris, but as far as I can tell, it only accepts camera info, and can not edit info within the cameras.

    Not of this I already understand. My only issue is that awhile back I set up my cameras with good ip addresses and all. everything was working fine. But I recently got a new router. So now I need to reset the Ip addresses to each camera. But before I installed them in hooked them directly into my router to set the ip addresses 1 at a time. but I dont want to go up on the side of the house and uninstall each camera and do this all again. I tried to change the ip addresses through the DVR but it fails everytime. its not allowing me to modify them through the DVR. I did take one camera down and changed the ip address after connecting it directly to my router again so that way still works but I dont want to do it for all of them. So how can I gain access to my cameras without uninstalling them all? I need to set the new ip addresses for my new router.

    I have a problem with an IP camera that is located in a bird box. Basically, I've had the camera plugged into a POE switch for the last year and I've been able to view the camera on an IP viewer. However, last week I plug the camera into the back of my HiLook DVR to see if it worked. It did work fine, however, I then plugged it back into my POE switch and now it won't work, the IP viewer can't detect any IP cameras. If I go into SADP then I can see the camera. However, the IP address that showing is not visible when I go into my BT hub router settings. I've been told that I need to change the IP address. However, the camera didn't come with any software or a CD so I have no idea how to access the settings. All I can tell you is that the camera is an H264.

      When your camera is connected
      you open your browser and type the IP of the camera and the port
      example: 10.100.101.102:80

      You should explain clearly..how to get the IP address to use in camera configuration.you just showed where to input.you did not explain where to get it

      ellehcor estolas I know man, these people asume we all understand computer talk. All I want is to check my cameras online once in a while. This is so complicated and everyone on you tube don't know how to explain how to start. It's like starting reading a book from chapter 12.

      Vince mocan if you’re got an IP camera, you better know some very basic networking to keep it working. If u don’t know anything then I suggest to get a plug and play cameras from Costco that comes with dvr. IMO that still a bit advance because it requires internet.

    Do you use program to find ip addresses, or you can just use your own computer without a special program? You guys start from chapter 12 all the time without a recap of a previous video if there is one.

    Please do a video showing how IP addresses are changed on generic Chinese IP PTZ cameras.

    • @Lilmiket1000
      @Lilmiket1000 3 года назад

      Yep, I have generic Chinese ip cameras. This is my issue there is options on the DVR that are supposed to allow you to change the IP addresses for your cams. But The cams aren't allowing them to be changed.

      @@Lilmiket1000 I found out that using an IP scanner will show all the IP cameras AND IP addresses on your ethernet.
      I haven't found a way to set static addresses, but the IP scanner will show any IP address changes.
      When you " ADD " camera to the DVR/XVR, it will then work.
      Select ONVIF, and also make sure the port number is correct.
      You can have multiple cameras working on 1 port number.

    I have a Chinese NVR four camera system and no manual. Each camera has wireless technology AND/OR wired ethernet. Two of my cameras are within range of the receiver and have good connectivity but two of them are not within acceptable range for the wireless signal. I would like to run ethernet cable from two of the cameras but I can't figure out how to do it. Can you direct me to an online manual or video to do this or just talk me through it?

    • @randymc61
      @randymc61 5 лет назад

      You need to make sure your security is updated, firmware is updated, and change (or set) a strong sign in password to the camera. If someone else has gained full control, and you can't even sign in, you'll need to hard reset your camera before doing all that.

      There are a few ways to accomplish this. Try this website. arllc.net/findipcam/. Easiest way for me (win 7) and depends on your version of Windont. Win 7 is Start menu-network...or...Start menu-devices and printers...or Start menu-accessories-right click command prompt and run as admin. Black window pops up and then type in ipconfig. Should bring up your network connected devices. ..or.....Physically check your modem/router for it's default ip address. Usually 192.168.0.1. Enter that into your address bar. A login for your router/modem should come up. Enter default username and pass. (Google default user/pass and your modem/router make and model number if it's not displayed on the modem/router.) Search for a tab that says wifi or lan status/settings and look for connected devices. Anything on your modem/router's network will have their ip addresses displayed. Gluck m8

      @@randymc61 hey thanks, for the heads up, I don't know a lot about this kinda stuff or what exactly all these computer terms and up numbers mean. And it's a must that I figure out the basics. I took a chance with every penny I had left after a nasty divorce and purchased almost 50 sony ipela snc-ep520 network cameras and can't figure out how to change the settings or whatever to check them. I have watched tons of vids on hooking them up and other computer stuff and just ending up changing something on my router and couldn't access it anymore, along with a bunch of tech people. For some reason I'm just not understanding it, I am missing fundamentals or some info or something. Do you know your way around that kinda stuff, could you possibly help me with a few issues i am having with being able to virw the cameras? Please?
