Hello there! I’ve moved school I was wondering if the Apollo detector with the sounder bases with the voice with it is rear! I don’t know they have a voice and a male voice: we have a kentec panel with 3 C-Tec sounder/1 gent sounder/and/ that’s it all the sounder bases and the sounders are voice they are rlly not loud 🤣 but they sound nice in everyone’s class they have a sounder base what’s voice they is only 1 in each class in the diner hall they is 3 or 4 and more in overs they all on evacuate tone all the call points are Apollo not the KAC looking! For some reason I like the sounders a little more when they're out of sync. Also, can the voice sounders do alert? You said you want different tones for CO and fire but that was definitely full evacuate with exception to the voice message.
to put a call point and a sounder beacon together (XP95) I have seen the Apollo Loop Tester and the devices functioning without a panel but using the tablet like device, is it a way to just have a goof with, similar to how you can use batteries with Conventional Devices e.g alarmsense, Series 65. because getting a panel all configured for addressable takes time.
player lol I don’t know how the loop tester exactly works, hopefully test logs can respond and answer your question, I’ve only ever messed with conventional stuff same with you but as you did state addressable panels are a pain so If your theory is correct then I may in vest in the loop tester for xp95 and discovery stuff to play around with even tho it’s £400
this is the device in question www.apollo-fire.co.uk/products/range/discovery/sounder-visual-indicators/58000-010apo-discovery-open-area-voice-sounder-(red) there are for my case however a slight hacky work around to get it to work, my panel doesn't officially support them as far as i know given the current revision of the configuration software (Loop Explorer) and the panels firmware. i have found that mapping the device as a discovery base sounder beacon works and allows you to choose the tones and messages i found this through trial and error. i would not recommend it, however i have not had any critical issues with doing so an they perform just fine. hope this helps :)
i still wonder why this guy has a full operational alarm system around the house even with a “push for emergency” button

When are you going to test the devices in the shed?
The voice sounders evacuate tone sounds a bit more babyish and squeakyish than the base sounders

have a look at the data sheet on Apollo's website openarea voice sounder it will tell you what tones and messages it has.
@@testlogs9005 you can also tell by the Co detector going off and the continuous beep
@@testlogs9005 but why did all the base sounders do evacuate when you tested the Co alarm? They used to do alert. Did you change them to do that?
