"Few things are as satisfying as a messy sandwich-the more napkins required, the better. While using shredded, juicy, long-braised meat would have been delicious, mushrooms steal the spotlight in this sandwich. They cook in a fraction of the time and don't compromise on flavor. Generously seasoned oyster mushrooms pair perfectly with smoked fresh mozzarella and are complemented by a bright, herbaceous salsa verde reminiscent of chimichurri. Smoked gouda would also be a great choice. A sturdy, crusty bread is essential to hold everything together without falling apart. I chose ciabatta, but any crusty bread will work beautifully."

Absolutely delicious! So simple but so tasty. Thank you so much!
Thank you for the love! I hope you give it a try!
The smoked paprika in mushrooms with smoked mozzarella and then bright savory salsa is a true party in your mouth. Great job
Thank you! It was really complex. I hope you give it a try!
I love Lawry’s. My dad refused to barbecue without it. What’s funny is that when my Gujarati inlaws saw it in my kitchen and tried it, they absolutely loved it too and started keeping it in their pantry with their other masalas. My spouse laughed so hard at how I turned them on to “American Masala”.
That's so funny! I'm going to refer to it as American Masala from now on.
Home run…cannot wait to try
He’s awesome
Mouth is watering watching this. I think I'm going to make this into a pizza.
A pizza version of this sounds phenomenal!
César is so real and talented. 🤩

¡Gracias! Jeje 😁
Wow delicious recipe
Thank you! I hope you try it!
That looks so good!
You have to try it!
"Nicely" ..... good? I really like your salsa verde recipe, it would be great on bone-in skinless chicken or as base on a wrap. Thanks for sharing a lighter summer recipe. Could easily take this to work for lunch.
I use that salsa verde recipe on pork chops and roast chicken all the time! It'd also go great on fish.
Looks great
Thanks so much!
@@cesar.ramon.perez.medero I think that combo could go on almost anything. Im gonna make it soon.
❤❤❤
🥰🥰🥰
Hey César 😉 My goodness 😍 I want one. Personally I’d use the Sazon…I looooove it!! My go-to seasoning. I add other seasonings sometimes. Nothing wrong with Lawry’s though.
Thanks for the love! It would be delicious with sazón!
@@cesar.ramon.perez.medero You’re welcome 😉
This looks so tasty 🤤
It really was!
Hell yeah that looks good.
It was 🔥!
César does it again!
😘
Giving me ideas for my next sourdough bake...
Yes! I wanna see!
Looks so good. I would add fresh cherry tomatoes to mine
That'd be delicious!
Can you use portobellos?
Sure! I'd slice them thinly.
Washing mushrooms. Yay or Nay?
Is up to what mushroom you are using or how are they sourced. If you can visually see the dirt then wash it. Just how Cesar mentioned they are a sponge, avoid soaking them. You can eventually cook off the water but it will just increase your cooking time.
I love the idea, but would be absolutely more AMAZING if you started the mushrooms with a little oil in the pan, hit them with kosher salt. Don't touch them. Let them caramelize. Get a really hard sear. Then toss them, deglaze with white wine and hit them with some fresh or dried thyme. As soon as the wine evaporates, pull them. I promise, the most delicious mushrooms you've ever had in your life! #pubtravels

Looks amazing
Please give it a try!
@@cesar.ramon.perez.medero Fo sho! You had us at “castelvetrano!” Copied down all the ingredients and going to put that castelvetrano salsa verde on everything! Eggs, toast, tomato salad… Any other suggestions?
