You are proved to be wrong. Joe tries his best to show and teach us how to have our hair styled. He has one type of hair and it is not possible for him to change his hair type. Thanks
I have very similar hair to you, thick and straight, and i loooveee this hairstyle, it is the one I have always wanted to get, just didn't really know how. Thank you for this video
Instead of doing all of this, you should try blow-drying your hair with your head tilted down if you haven't already, been doing it for the last year and I still get great volume with little products, as well it saves a lot of time. Something like this would take me from 20 to 30 minutes, up to 15 minutes.
Hey joe i found a new way to apply cavalier , just scooo it onto your finger tips (small.amounts ) then heat it with the blowdryer , application is a lot softer and way less tugging
I feel like this technique really only works for literally you. I feel like it won't work for 99/100 guys, as you have to have the exact type of hair that you do. Its going to cause a hairstyle that is too flat and oily for almost everyone else. Also, I'm not feeling the 5th sample, as you showed a video of your hair at the end of the day and it had completely lost its shape, and there are many hair products that can achieve the same look as 5th but with results that last an entire day. I feel like thats one thing about blumaan products that I always had problems with, hairstyles that would last. Very similar problem I had way back in the day with products such as American Crew
I had an issue similar to yours when Cavalier came out, but I realized it's because I was basing my scoops on how much I saw Joe taking which, to your point, was a bad idea because he and I don't have the same type or amount of hair. I think it's all about finding the sweet spot for your individual hair type with any product (everyone was hype about HDF Gravity Paste when it came out but I had a similar issue there too). People just need to be willing to put in the time - just sucks that these products cost a good amount.
@@wbae1340 I actually had some of the best results when I was using a small bit of Sidekick from ByVilain before going in with original and then finishing with Cavalier or Monarch. Worth a try if you have the cash (which I sadly don't anymore).
A lot of these hair gurus on YT already have an advantage over most guys - they won the nice hair gene lottery. So, I absolutely agree that this is a technique that only works for select individuals, and that includes a lot of the products being sold. Personally, out of all of products I've tested - Rudy's clay pomade has had the longest hold and looked best (coming from something with finer hair)
I also started to grow out my sides more and tried styling my hair in the opposite direction. It worked for a bit and looked great until I realized that with the length of my hair rn(front goes to mouth when pulled straight and sides are about 2 inches or so) my hair looks best when I let each side fall on its own. I only use the blow dryer now to get some volume and to keep it in order but I still keep my natural waves(so I don’t use a brush all that much). I want to continue to grow my hair out so the back gets longer too but that’ll take a while. Rn this has been working well and I’m pleased with how it’s turned out.
Also, I use some coconut oil to start and 5th sample as a pre styler(I prefer it over original for longer hair). Cavalier clay for post styler. Ps I started using pomades as a pre stylers before Joe did😜 but he inspired me to try 5th sample as a prestyler so props to him
it literally takes 10 minutes max it seems like it takes forever but trust put in about 80% percent effort he does for a good outcome and time yourself do it right and it'll be barely 8 minutes long
I love this look joe...I do the greaser look myself and this style really does it for me especially since I had to give up oil based pomade and go to fifth sample
I've been growing my sides out for the last month or so and have found your videos very helpful, but I have a question. The hair on one side of my head grows down and is pretty stubborn. Any tip on training it to go backwards?
My barber explained that putting hair oil in as the first step in pre styling ends up creating problems...product isn’t able to adhere to oiled hair. I found that it makes a big difference if you apply any oils much later on in the routine.
I have fine but super full hair, and I have my hair bleached on top, looking like homelander, the roots are redone every 10 weeks, I shampoo every other day, so normally 4 days a week, this is because my scalp is super oily, I also use a colour safe scalp exfoliator once a week, on the days that I shampoo I use 2 drops of cloud control and a pea sized amount of original, and those 3 other days that I don't shampoo, I water rinse, and instead cloud control, I use one shot strength treatment spray instead, then of course still a pea sized amount of original meraki, and for post styler I use something light weight, and a paste if I'm going for all day hold and my low volume middle side parted quiff, but if I'm looking for something more natural, or if Im doing sports or it's super windy, a bit of fudge professional grooming putty, I know no one cares but I plan on becoming a styliste
It is a dope looking style, currently have it at present but dealing with the awkward stage as my hair is about an inch or less. However that will before I go for highlights. The tips you share are Immensely helpful Joe!
hi bro .... I've seen a lot of youtubers who use hairdryers for hair care..if you can make a video that don't need to use hairdryer there may be ones that don't have a hairdryer.... you can show how to manage hair to maintain health hair without using a hairdryer
BluMaan no never got refunded, even bought another clay weeks later and same thing happened. Came in frozen. Could’ve happened during shipping process but never got a good product
Hey people can you comment on that Does it happen to anyone When putting any product be it clay or anything I put the same way he does But when i take my hands out of my hands i easily loose 10+ hairs clearly can see them Not that i am getting bald But doesnt putting product or i dont know to run trough your hair like that can lead on a slow thinning because of regular loosing of hairs I know we loose 100 hairs naturally everyday But to that action dont we put our scalp under more stress??
That only happened when I use Cavalier on grown out hair, which is thick and coarse. Cavalier only works for me when I get a fresh cut. In general, I use products that are easier to apply like Monarch and Fifth Sample
Hey Joe!. I usually shower at night and style my hair in the morning. Should I use cloud control before sleeping to help my hair overall? Or would it work to use a couple hours before styling so that it's already in there and absorbed before I style? I'm just confused as to how to best use it for people who shower at night and then style in the morning. Thanks!
What product should I use if i have long hair that goes down to my chin and is thick? I usually do like a justin bieber hair style but it always falls and sometime I don’t get enough volume
Blank Hero he reviewed it and said he wasn’t impressed. In another video he said he was using it as a post styler because even though it wasn’t that good, he liked how it controlled his hair.
My hair just has a default line in it like if i blow dry all at back 2/3 of my hair goes right side and 1/3 goes left side unlike you....tell me how to remove that line and make it like you Joe
I play heaps of Baseball and my hair always flops down at the front and sides half way throw the day. I havent started to blow dry because my hair isnt that long.
I know that using shampoo every day is bad for hair but I don’t know how to remove hair products from, my hair could someone tell me how to remove the hair product without shampoo?

No chance I could spend that much time on my hair even if that’s the product I want out of it. Looks great on you though. Keep it up man!

Blow-dry it back or use a high hold product to slick it back.
I think blumaans hair looks better with longer sides
Same

Try round brush with mousse Osis + and a little amount of Matt cream on damp hair..big volume for all day. Remember a spray of Togo hard head!
