@@OverwatchSpot when you hug the wall there on the rock there will be a rock in front of you, you kinda have to jump around it and then shield bash and its pretty consistent
A note on that Shambali one, not only is it really inconsistent, there’s two different ways to do it from my own experimenting, but both are hard to pull off. There are two other jump spots in Shambali too: one easy and one inconsistent I found. The easy one is in the red side flank after first checkpoint; there is a standing bell nearest the short wall that overlooks the checkpoint: if you shield bash it, you can launch yourself over the wall and onto the road where the checkpoint is. This is great for attackers who are trying to escape back to their team. The harder and really inconsistent one is the Pharah/Junk at the second checkpoint that goes behind the enemy team (the wall with the chunk taken out), if you shield bash the sloped wall, you can get up to the first ledge under the break in the wall. If you angle and shield bash again, you can clear the wall and land behind the enemy team. This one took me about twenty minutes to get the jump cleared. But I think with more experimenting, it might become easier.
Good shit. Trying out now I found that the inconsistent spots are, unintuitively, way more consistent if you're further back than you think you should be. Echein #2 just past the curb, and the Junkertown gear if your back is touching that tower. Could not get that Shambali one consistently. At all. Every time I'd do the same line-up that had just worked and it wasn't even close.
I've noticed you can mostly consistently get the jump height (Im just not 100% on the timing yet) to make it all the way to the bridge from the 1st Numbani bus right outside attacker spawn (sometimes a little tracer/junk gremlin might be hiding on the widow perch that you can then jump to from this bridge). I also like jumping on top the second bus as attacker right before the point because it might give me more range to boop someone off the high ground peeking around the high ground corner (huge boop if its on a widow/ashe that's already used their mobility). And you can make it from the third bus after point all the way to the balcony in one go, sometimes it's made the difference in escaping for my life not having to do that second jump that sometimes you get stuck on.
If you really wanna see some insane bash jumps, look for OW1 bash-whipshot jumps. You used to be able to fully cancel bash with whipshot, which meant bash didn't try to slow you down at the end. You could launch stupidly far by just using whipshot during this tech.
