Hey ! Nice video :D . I worked on a job with Viggo M. a few years back and he seemed to be an unaffected , regular guy . All the women on the job were crazy about him .... Ha . I totally related when you said that carrying a camera helps you stay alert to your surroundings . I carry a camera around all the time too and it does make you 'see' more ..... Anyway . This was a good run of videos . Nice work !!!

This was a great series Tatiana, I hope you can add to it again in the future. One thing that stuck with me about this one is what you (and Viggo) said about having the camera with you and how it helps you to notice things that you may not have without it, I certainly can relate to that. That quote about not always taking the picture. There is so much to that. There is definitely a heightened awareness as well as a searching. I love that. I always think photographers, alongside their photo work, either side step into film or book/zine publishing, however starting your own press is impressive!
An interesting point about memory. IMHO memory the most influencial photographic tool or sense...if you can influence your viewers memory in some way then they will enjoy your photography.

Thought provoking finale to this series celebrating a group of multidisciplinary talents - a group whose diversities are often hidden under a bushel by publicity machines. Thank you for letting their light shine. Sadly, all good things must come to an end, but hope springs eternal that you won't shut any door so tight that it can't be opened
The name Viggio Mortensen in your caption also sparked memories of namesake, William Mortensen (1897-1965), a 'Pictorialist' who incurred heated derision by the doyen of 'Modernists'. Thanks for your show showing that maturity and broader thinking prevail today.

I had no idea Viggo Mortenson did photography! I did know he did music and spoke many languages, but I knew nothing about his photography! I hope you can bring this series back one day!

Even we don't pull out our camera from the camera back, we are always observing in the scene looking for motives, angles, moods or characters. We sometimes make the shot in our mind and that helps us to make the shot with the camera better next time. Observing without shooting belongs to our learning curve.

Viggo Mortensen is an interesting actor, so it stands to reason his art efforts are as well. About the only film of his I didn't like was the remake of "Vanishing Point." It wasn't his performance; that classic never should have been remade.
