Good repair on the Bush Hog. Like your idea of using the thicker plate. I have done a lot of welding in the oil field and done a lot of farm equipment I prefer to use Flux core wire or stick get much better welds on rusty dirty metal

I have an 8ft brush hog on the workmaster. It doesn’t even really notice it’s back there even going through some thick brush. It’s currently in desperate need of an overhaul, but it’s currently buried under the snow. So right now my 7ft snowblower is getting a workout for the season.

Haha Nice. You can keep that snow right where your at. It’s not wanted here

Great video as usual. I was just wondering where you’ve been. I had to rebuild the Deck on my 6’ shredder this spring. I went through mine and pressure washed it really good, found all the cracks. The main thing was welds were cracked in the same spots where the gearbox mounts up. I did the same thing reinforced the underside and added a thicker mounting plate. Then added 6” angle iron to the sides to stiffen them up, added bolt on Sliders and some 3” angle to the back to reinforce it, put on new blades and good as New. Under $500 steel and new blades and paint it sure saved me bunch of $$$ VS buying a new one.
You and the Family have a Great Christmas!!!!!!
