Slick Rick is Snoop's favorite MC. So he did this remake of Doug E Fresh with Ricky D (Slick Rick) song La Di Da Do from 1985. All the lyrics is pretty much Slick Rick with some alterations he made to fit him. No, Biggie didn't sample Snoop but Slick Rick and any other words you heard here from someone else they got it from Slick Rick.
DSR- I just Downloaded TuneIn and Bookmarked your website and the 1st Song i hear is Criminal Minded and now they playing The JB's! I'M IN HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Funny thing is. Dr Dre had to talk Snoop into doing this song. Snoop didn't want people to say he was biting off of Slick Rick, since his flow is similar to Slick Rick, (but OF COURSE Snoop's voice is very much his own and distinctive). Dr Dre told him that it would be an ode to Slick Rick and giving a nod to a legend.
This is probably my favorite track on this album, and the first time i heard it way back in 93 i had the exact same reaction that you did @Just Jammin'

Biggie and Snoop sampled from Slick Rick's La di da di song from 1985
And Slick Rick sampled that part from a 1965 Japanese song which became the first international song to go number 1 in the US in 1965
