Saba was one of my favorites. One of the best parts of Saba is under the water. Incredible Scuba diving. Volcanic pinnacles. Wonderful. I went to the Hospital when I injusred my wrist. The doctor was very knowledgeable. They charged me $5.00 five dollars!
Saba is as charming as the two of you. Genuine enthusiasm for the simple things in life shows in your travels. From her first introduction until now, Daniela's spirit is shining brighter than ever. Happy and safe travels to you both.
Hubb I welded for 35 years. Also an aluminum boat builder. 1” pipe isn’t 1” it’s larger. It’s actually 1-5/16”. Pipe isn’t the actual size like shafts.
I liked the edit from the plane taking off to you going up the hill it made it seem like you were on the airplane! you guys are great! thanks for the videos.
Cool place. Great for hiking, as there are many trails and SCUBA diving. You've probably never heard of it because it lacks something tourists seek in the Caribbean....beaches.
Leuk om deze edit van Saba te zien. Ben er nog nooit geweest, maar nu toch even samen met jullie kunnen genieten van dit kleine stukje Nederlands paradijs. Heel veel plezier samen, maar dat lukt wel zo te zien. Groeten 👋
We've vacationed in Saba twice now. I would love to live there but it's a little off the beaten path. I took videos of taking off and landing at that airport. People think the landing would be scary. It's not. When the pilots tell everyone to move forward as possible before takeoff, it's because they want to be able to lift off the ground before running out of runway!
Nice island -- QUESTION -- I saw this thing to stop your boat rolling side to side. It was called "flopper stopper", but you can make your own (see youtube videos) and it reduces rolling to less that that of a Catamaran.. Maybe want to try that?
The medical school on Saba is part of the University of Toronto. I was there about 10yrs ago. Such a great and unique place. It isn't very popular with tourists because the island has no beaches. It is a popular spot for SCUBA diving, however. Not for beginners, though.
Very enjoyable scenery and I really like the architecture of the houses, very quaint. Having only 200 people on the small island I suppose that you get to know your neighbors very quickly.
Great huub keep going.. Being the oldest guy living in Saba, it's surreal to witness the vast differences, especially compared to places like Pakistan. While England's universities and Premier League stadiums signify progress, it's disheartening to admit that my experience hasn't been as positive here. Nevertheless, every place has its own story to tell, and I'm grateful for the perspective gained through it all.
I flew there from St. Maarten. Really cool. I think taking off was even more exciting. You fly right off a cliff over the sea. Like being on an aircraft carrier.
I am curious how tall both of you are? I have been enjoying the trip you guys are taking and glad that Daniella is able to join you as crew. She has a beautiful smile and fun to watch her try things.
I hope the names are right, I copied them from other comments, so I enjoy the video Richard and Daniella. Thanks for showing me the beautiful places that I will be able to visit when I get my boat in the water. I probably won't have such beautiful crew as Daniella, but I'll still have the beautiful scenery and interesting places to visit.
Huub, as an American living in The Netherlands, I noticed a couple notable things about Saba from your video. First, it appears from the signage that English is the predominant language there. Is that so? Did you encounter Dutch speakers? Also, the license plates on the cars don't look like those here in The Netherlands (which, as you know, are longer, narrower, and have a yellow background).
Smaller and just a quarter of the height, but that "either up or down" and the narrow roads reminds a lot of Tenerife (which also has the highest peak of Spain, btw). Very beautiful and scenic, but can also be a bit tiring after a while with all the hills 😉
There are only a handful of planes that are certified to land there. One of the shortest runways in the world. Flew there from St. Maarten about 10yrs ago.
Stroopwafels!! Dat is the shizzle!
Hubb at 38ys I married a 23yr girl with Spanish genes-5ft, coffee coloured skin 45kgs(98lb) 36inch bust & smallest arse & are still together 41yrs later-I sleep with her now as a grandma-so dont worry about the haters & Daniela? age. Like U I backpacked from Thailand(Vietnam war was on) to Nepal then India,Pakistan,Afganistan(thur Kyber Pass) Iran,Turkey,Greece all of Europe&Sweden/Norway- (train to Hell railway station-so been to Hell&back) met/slept with lots of girls in my 22yrs as a bachelor. U have had some gorgeous girls in Ur 350 vids & all have stayed/slept with U of their own free will for different lengths of time-which to me means U treat them well-dont use them as clickbait, living in grotty RV's/B&Bs/hostels/tents/a sinkable sailing boat, hiking the crap out of them-what are these girls thinking-Ur living the life-may U keep making excellent vids-which I love & Daniela stays with U a longer time-as she a princess though struggling with English, Cheers 2u both
Sorry I meant to say at Daniela?-is this the right spelling, not questioning her age & at (dont use them for clickbait)-I was trying to say that U only use pictures they would know about & none of your thumbnails are offensive. They wear bikinis that are seen on any beach around the world & look gorgeous. Other sailing channels do overdo the thumbnails but U dont. Ur vids are also a diary of their adventures with you-I wish I had photos like yours from my trips around the world & the girls/women can enjoy them over again as they get older & say to their kids-C how beautiful I was!
You two make a great couple, great adventures

I am glad you visited Saba and showed us what it is like because with such a rolly anchorage, you convinced me not to go. Cheers, Richard
Great Couple indeed and your documental is fabulous I enjoyed it

The smallest I've been to is Young Island in St. Vincent.
🥰mooi !!
Very enjoyable scenery and I really like the architecture of the houses, very quaint. Having only 200 people on the small island I suppose that you get to know your neighbors very quickly.
Hi Chuck, yes, we very much enjoyed Saba and if it wasn't so rolly, would have loved to stay longer ! Soon your surprise will be in the video ;)
Huub, YOU are the Man🎉 great stuff
I love to see your videos veel plezier samen have fun ❤
WOW such a beautiful island. IMOH the most beautiful location you have filmed.....so far.
Thanks Mich! We really enjoyed Saba!
It is. No beaches means low tourism.

Great video Hubb love the £20000 folly yacht vs the million dollar oyster that doesn’t move😊
they're called flopper stoppers..I've made lots of them...easy and very effective. zero roll....
good to know!
Stroopwafels - lekker! Langzaam wordt ze nederlands.... Groeten, SY Erlano
Allways heard of Saba's very short landing strip but I did not know the island is soooogorgeous.
I flew there from St. Maarten. Really cool. I think taking off was even more exciting. You fly right off a cliff over the sea. Like being on an aircraft carrier.

You do know the only reason we watch is because your girl friend. 😊
I thought she left you mate happy to see her hang around

Yes it is tiring one long step up! Look forward to see Tenerife!
I like Saba island , I'm surprised they allow vehicles, it must cost a lot to live there ?
Hanging with her is giving you an accent lol 😅😂
Love it!
I live here its so cold rn tbh
The Oyster is nice, but Limonada is the pearl.
Hahaha, I like that!
Knappe landing met dat vliegtuigje👍😊
Haha ja echt wel!
Any chance you will go to Bonaire? We are there diving 2/22 til 3/9/24, we’ll buy you dinner! Safe travels!
Cool - now I know Netherlands has hills 🙂
Damn your mainsail is toast.
❤❤
aww, 13:37 :) nice
That plane stopped very fast!
So fast !
There are only a handful of planes that are certified to land there. One of the shortest runways in the world. Flew there from St. Maarten about 10yrs ago.
I bought all my driving licences on Saba in 1990

Interesting, the little island isn’t full of motorbikes?
Most people get around with taxis.
Hola ❤
She is so cute
A great video what a beautiful little Island you said it's 🥵 but can't be as hot as your first mate she's gorgeous
gewoon mee trouwen...toppertje
Lovely video, but....surely the Caribbean's smallest inhabited island is Isla Islote!
I have toenail fungus older than her😂
🖐😎💙
👍👍🥃🍷
Don't try sailing to the US. They may want to check some documents.
Been at sea a long time ?

Holy shit this post is creepy.😂
GO TO BONAIRE
Que Chula la chica
great video but i believe Saba is not in the Caribbean
Of course it is. It's literally next to St. Maarten, St.kitts, Statia, etc. Part of the Eastern Caribbean Antilles.
🌟 Promo`SM
