    Hi!
    I'm in search for upgraded nozzles for my car.
    Now I have DSLA146P1055 nozzles (common rail injector) and want to put DSLA143P970 which should be much bigger.
    Do you think will they fit because of common rail system or not? Thank you for help :)

      Nozzle is direct bolt on and they work fine. Im not familiar with the dsla146 so i cant say if they are bigger or not

    Hello, Bigdiffas, I am planing to increase power in my 2.5 tdi, i have gtb2260vk, what injector nozzle should i get if i want 300 hp
    Will dsla143p790 be good for that power?

      Depending on the engine combo if it reachable with those nozzles. What engine you are building?

      @@bigdiffas Dear Diffas, I have exactly the same question for AFB engine on Audi B5, I'm aiming at least ~300hp/~600nm with gtb2260vk (2.6bar) and stock pump 059130106D (2 rollers), which nozzle would do the job on my AFB injectors ? I map ECU myself. If you suggest another setup for safe 300hp with stock pump, don't hesitate to tell me ^^ (Otherwise I'll need info about mods on vp44)

    what pressure did you set on the injections because there are two first to fire and the second to make the engine work evenly

      I think i had 245 or 250, because diesel shop i used back then didnt have correct pins that time. Usually i recommend 260.

    bigdiffas, do you use shims with hole in the middle, or longer pins to set opening pressure up to 260 bar?

      MrSchokomanu On these 2.5tdi injectors pressure is set by pressure pins.

    Can I use these nozzles with bdg engine?
    How will the idle be with stock pressure?
    My Engine is Stock except for ECU tuning.

      Yes you can. Actually I'm using BDG injector bodies on this setup. I recommend to increase opening pressure from stock to 260bar . With higher opening pressure you have better idle.

    Hi, I need some help.
    I have got Audi a6 c5 2002 quattro AKE engine.
    I want to get 250+- hp on engine.
    Can I use these nozzles with ake engine? Will fuel pump be able to work after using DSLA143P970 nozzles? Can I set additional fuel pump?
    I want to use turbo gtb2260vk or gt2260v.

      Hi there. Yes you can use dsla143p970 nozzles with your AKE engine injectors. AKE pump is very capable but most cases it is too restricted by pump own ecu, some AKE setups allow more some less. 240-250hp should be possible with even with the more restricted pump version. Having good external lift pump is never a bad idea, but not needed for this setup. I would go GTB2260vzk, it spools way better than VK. Like VK version some fabrication needs to be done and also right conversion to vacuum (or use suitable electronic actuator)

      @@siriesua9920 Removing the old nozzles from injectors and swap them to new ones. Opening pressure is adjusted by the pressure pin inside the injector body. 0.02mm of lenght equals about 3bar of pressure.

    how does spool your gtx2863? your 100 to 200 seem slow.. my car is a 3.0 and I do it in 10s. is that turbo better than a hybrid gtb2271vklr? Thanks.

      gtx28 spooled about 300rpm weaker than later with modified turbineshaft from gtx29/30. My car is slow. All other cars are faster.

      Yes you can. Just needs tune. I think something like 210-220 hp is possible with stock turbo

      There are no upgrade nozzles for b7 3.0tdi. at least bolt and turn key. I have ccwa injectors on my b7 but they need big changes on ecu.

      I have my ECU files on hard drive and cand send it (of course I will pay for your work) but at first I have to change the injectors because they are not the best.

    I have to howl once more wrmjet and give myself to regulation at 260bar because I have aerial 220bar and a funnel and if you suddenly give gas to the floor the engine goes for and how it flooded with fuel

      Yes there is also second stage but that is not adjusted, only first one is adjusted

    Hi I have AKN with some cheap ECU remap. So if I instal DSLA143P970 must I do custom remap or keep this?? and if I instal only noozles must I change fuel pump??

      I would be good idea to have map done. Since you need more boost to match fueling. No need to fuel pump change

      And have another question about intake is better keep stock or do sport filter of course with good temperature shielding. And what about airflow sensor and pressure sensor in coolers??

      @@vojtakubera1691 For small powerupgrades stock filter is more than enough. Sure if you wish to have more intake noises go for some free flowing filters. Yes 260bar is good. Some have good results with 240bar but I had little idle lope there

      Ok thanks. I am thinking about turbo from 3.0 tdi becase it's quite reliable in my country, but i readed that it have big lags in lower rpms. And I dont know if it fit on exhaust pipes without adjustment and if i must change lubrication system?? Or do you have any other idea of some reliable turbo??

      ​@@bigdiffas i build in the 143P970. But with some Problems. Raised opening preasure to 295bar. Idle is late start of injection, getting even worse with more rpm. to about 7degree after top dead and mumbles to 1800rpm. After 1800 rpm soi gets corrected by Electronic to normal. 295bars stage1 opening and raised from 0,03mm to 0,065mm for good Spray. Stage 2 about 400bars. Do you also have Problems with 260bar?

      @@g-uu2fh for those 970 nozzles you dont need that high opening pressure. Most cars get away with stock 240bar opening pressure. 260 should be totally fine. Probably something preinjection related problem i recon 🤔

      @@bigdiffas got the Problem. Anglesensor inside the Pump loosen the M3 screw and pushed from middle Position to the right. From that moment its fine idle and Low rpm

    Hello! What is the fuel consumption in different modes on this config?

      With p970 nozzles it was most economical. Best average for road travel was 4.7l/100km at 85km/h. On city average was around 7.

      I'm affraid I cant help with firmware, because my tuner makes those. And BAU is totally different ecu anyway. Try to ask from info@tdituning.fi What is opening pressures for the nozzles ?

      If you are prepared to repair it and have skills for that. Those are now more than 15year old cars so there might be any kind of problem. For sure there will be cam wear, pump wear, some sensors etc may have problems because of age.

      At least now engine is working good, no smoke, gearbox changes good. Im thinking to trade my S class year 2000 3.2 CDI with that A6.
