Bama's only loss that year was in the SEC Championship Game---where Florida beat them by ONE POINT. But the Gators won that game fair and square, so that's just the way it was.
really? i dont think so,bama just stopped them. lets talk about how many breaks the refs gave auburn in the auburn arkansas game in 2010. that was a joke. only in jordan hare. ROLL TIDE!
As if Auburn has never been guilty of any impropriety? Only a few years ago an Auburn booster with close ties to the school was found to have paid off Cams dad after which he just so happened to choose Auburn over Ole Miss leading the NCAA to change the rules about what qualifies as an "agent". Please. Take your complaint to some Auburn forum where somebody actually care. It was a spot by the ref. That is not really something thats subject to "home cooking". He puts the ball at forward progress.
He had the first down it was a bad spot as anyone can see from the video. Then it was close enough and the ref said he didn't make when the ball was touching the end of the chain which is a first down not the actual pole the chain is hooked to. It was just another example of the higher ranked team getting the call for the SEC. Happens every year.
Pause the video at 6:17. You can clearly see he had the first down yardage. He(the ball as well) was at the Alabama 39 yard line. Anyone not biased can clearly see he picked up the first down. But, leave it to a Bama fan to conclude Alabama stopped him an inch short. Umm no, the refs did.
J. Faust When I say pause it at 6:17 I mean the point right before Alabama players made contact and drove him backwards. Forwards progress gave him the first down.

that season was so painful at the end, I was so sure we were going to be National Champions. Oh well, Hope Bama can get it done this year

1 inch is all it takes.
Auburn was closing another undefeated 1994 season just like in 1993 season 11-0
Sure Win Williams! I was at this game...awesome post! Thanks
ROLL TIDE!!
I'm assuming this game wasn't televised due to Auburn being on probation. Or was that the 1993 game?

Thank goodness Legion Field is done with this rivalry and Bear Bryant is still dead
