Amen! Im 47 and just recently discovered this band(80's metalhead) This song hits home. Many years of watching ones I love and myself fall from grace in different ways, be it drugs or mentally, spiritually. Dont ever give up though, find help anyway you can, you may never be free of your demons, but you can override them and live again despite them. God bless.

I actually knew Brent before he joined Shinedown. He hung out at the same bar/club that I did. I only had a couple of conversations with him. Just a super nice guy.

I listen to this song, Monsters, Get up etc...They speak to us all. I really appreciate this band. Their songs are amazing, the words so relevant. Love this song from Shinedown and i play this song after don't drink us away by Carrie Underwood and i kinda feel both singers always make you feel if they know right now how your feeling with their songs and that's what i like about Carrie Underwood and Shinedown and their both awesome singers that we all enjoy listening to growing up.😊

First time I heard this song it took me back to my first real break up and then over 10 years later she showed back up. The ghost for me was who she used and that is all I saw. I knew she hadn't really changed and I had healed from the situation. I had also healed from the other problems I was dealing with when she and I were together. I knew going back to her was completely wrong for me so I walked away from the situation than just giving into it. She hoped we would just pick right up were we left off.

man i remember back about a year ago i was battling with depression and i listened to this song one of the nights before i wrote a note and walked to the hospital with a 9mm in my coat and i had the gun to my head and the gun miss fired. since then i have attempted suicide 3 other times and each one i failed ya i know fail to die that's almost as crazy as wanting to die. Also the note said to take any organs that were still good and use them on someone better. i have also tried to kill myself by train, falling and overdosing.
cody clampitt live life to the fullest life is a challenge that takes us through many tragedies and also happiness but the end of the day you get one life use what ever time you have on this beautiful earth and live your life rise above any hating you have for yourself
