They opened with Stranger Than Earth at the show I went to. Still a fantastic opening but the Heartsigh one sounds a lot more atmospheric and interesting 🔮

For anyone who saw them live, you'll notice the stage and set pieces, including her wardrobe, is from the tour. I like the new take on it even so. Purity Ring is gaining a major fanbase. I discovered them audio engineering at iHeartRadio when before they got airplay. Glad to see them doing well and loved them in Los Angeles last weekend!

Yes!! I am a stagehand and I set them up at Bonarroo 2015. I was part of their lighting crew so I set up those strings of bulbs.. it was a very cool design up close too. They probably have one of the coolest sets that I've built next to Radiohead.
This is exactly what being at their concert was like. I was so amazed by all of the lights and talent!
The mirrored gloves she wore that reflected off the light tripped me out.

It is possible they meant "harmonic" as in, instrumentally-harmonic (her voice harmonizes with the accompanying instrumentals).
They are amazing and even better 6 years after you posted your comment. I saw them in concert last summer, and I was dumbfounded at how talented they are, just as the pair!

I freakin love purity ring especially bodyache by them, she uses her actual voice in her concert it's her using her actual voice when singing which is why I love there music. can't wait to see there concert in Salt Lake City Utah.

+Chris Flores I agree!... OR, for the full "experience" you can also listen to them through a really good amp and full range home speakers!... NO cellphone OR laptop/computer speakers are going to do this performance any real justice, that's for sure!... And anyone who thinks it will will be really missing out on the full ambiance, bass, and cool stereo effects!... Even better yet, get this new album on CD or LP and listen to it... MUCH better than anything on here, or anywhere online!... Sorry people, but MP3 downloads of their stuff is almost insulting to how awesome they CAN sound on a CD or record with a really good system!... Plus, if you *ever* get a chance to see them perform LIVE somewhere, don't miss it; it is completely awe inspiring!! :)

+Chris Flores Not exactly the same, of course, (Purity Ring is quite unique), but Chvrches (with the V) are sort of similar, as is Halsey, Grimes, Phantogram, and London Grammar is very powerful too, (although not quite as electronic)... And if you go back a few years, believe it or not to the 90's and early 2000's, there is Portishead, Sneaker Pimps, Goldfrapp, Hooverphonic, (one of my all time favs!), and of course you can't forget about Imogen Heap/Frou Frou either!... And that's just to name a few right off the top of my head... When I think of more cool music like this I could let you know... The best advice I can give you is to just EXPLORE every single new artist that you come across throughout your life, (even if it's not really "new", but only new to YOU), and I'm sure you'll come across MUCH more good music that you come to love, if you just always keep an open mind!... That's what I always do, and I believe always finding and liking new music (to you) is what helps keep us "forever young"!

I will check out the other artist you have listed and keep seeking new music. I absolutely love how they sound hella pop but almost always have fairly abstract lyrics, with so many interesting things going on behind that great voice. So accessible and yet not at all shallow.
There is not that much who give me goosebumps. But "Heartsigh" is one of them.

Yeah I was kinda put off by their "rehearsal-esque" segments in this, but they did add quite a bit to keep it from just being their live show and also, the memory is recorded now.

Purity Ring just keeps getting better and better
I love them so much♡ I saw them at the fortress festival in fort worth and this video is exactly how it felt seeing them. She sounds even more beautiful in person. It was basically a mini concert full of all their best songs in both albums :) seeing them was one of the best things this year for me.

I bought tickets today, to see Purity Ring live for the second time, almost 1 year apart. I had the epic pleasure of seeing the show outdoors at the Maha Music Festival 2015, which I love to support as a volunteer... PR stole the show!!! I cannot wait to see how the sound fills the space. Nearly a 2 month wait but it'll be worth it I'm sure... Hoping to introduce my boy person to the experience. I feel like I can reset my heartbeat to the music.
