It is rather peculiar, this double standard. If they change a white and or straight person into black or gay, then it is "diversity and acceptance". But if black or gay person is changed into white and/or straight person, then it is homophobia and racism. Funny how this one-way street works.

They race swapped Newton ? Interesting. I can't wait for them to do the same with, let's say... Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks and Malcolm X. What, it doesn't work that way ?!
Exactly…it is a deliberate destruction of what we stood for and where we came from…see my main comment above! It’s gas lighting the young campus idiots into believing a farce. Lie often, convincingly, and obscure the truth. Facts do not matter to the hard liberal left who want social engineering to make the world in their image….
@@GabrielH1 Listening to proselytizing is like watching food in the act of spoiling. A pinch of feces in the middle of bowl of breakfast porridge makes the whole of it unpalatable.
The fourth Doctor wakes up under a table in a tea room. He staggers to his feet and looks around at the neat table cloths and dainty cruet sets. Outside it's a beautiful spring morning in Skegness. A whirring sound makes him spin around. Out of the kitchen comes Davros, wearing a chef's hat (with an eye hole cut out). "It's taken me thousands if years, Doctor, but I've had my revenge. Did you enjoy the hallucinations brought on by eating my special Skaro pukeweed infused chocolate brownies?"
These three episode are special as they show the depths that RTD has devolved to, and saved us from having any hope that he will fix Dr Who. In fact, he was nice enough to cement the Timeless Children and make sure that no actual fan would watch anything he makes ever again.
@AVIARYCOURT Also, the Doctor _is and was_ just the Timelord equivalent of a bloke who nicked the work's van and went off on a jolly to impress his granddaughter.
Also, Tom Baker's Doctor already told the story when he met Isaac Newton, as written by Douglas Adams in "The Pirate Planet". (Douglas Adams was a real writer, unlike Russell Davies the child predator.)
@@fffx2yes, he was the show runner for Doctor Who for a while. He had some excellent classics but had to write under a pen name because of the BBC rules at the time. City of Death, with Julian Glover is one of my favorites. Then there’s Shada which sadly wasn’t finished (but available now) because of a strike. Even one if the Hitchhiker books started life as a Doctor Who story called Doctor Who and the Krikket Men. When that fell through he just adapted it to HGTTG.
The BBC have had diversity quotas for years. They have to meet a certain percentage of “representation” in every episode and how else were they going to manage that in a bottle episode with only two cast members and a cameo? At this point it’s not insulting it's embarrassing that they think they’re doing something noble.
1:46 I hate tweets like MrReTardis here. No one thought Dickens blew up ghosts or Christie fought a wasp. That's fantasy adventure. Race-swapping, however, is social engineering. Don't you dare pretend that we do not live in an age in which we are OBVIOUSLY being shown *Nonwhite Newton* because of the hateful messaging pushed on us every single day. Every day we are told these lies: 1. White people did not build the West, it was actually brown people. 2. Our country was ahctually populated by a ton of brown people. 3. No one is White, ahctually. We all probably had mulatto ancestors. Newton was actually black. 4. That EVEN IF Newton was white, we ought to present him as nonwhite because the FUTURE ought to and will be nonwhite! 5. History was too white and all these white people today are too white, which is why we need to encourage portrayals of nonwhites in order to further deracinate white people. (Yes this point contradicts 1, 2, and 3. They don't tell the truth, they gaslight everybody). That is why they can F the H off with *Nonwhite Newton.*
And yet they had the representation in Rose or Shaun in order to have checked the box. I made a video on the race swap on my other channel and people told me my examples didn’t work and that I was clearly an unhappy person… all because I know how my industry works and how we should be allowed to celebrate our white history.
I got off the school bus at my friends house everyday. Turned on PBS and watched an episode of Dr. Who. I would walk home after, about half a mile. When it was rebooted I watched it with my daughter. She, I, and eventually my second daughter bonded with Dr. Who. I didn't say anything but one day at dinner I mentioned the woke thing. At first my daughters thought "oh here dad goes again". As I talked about different scenes talking about how awful and toxic men were. As I talked about how wonderfully written Missy was. The Master being a woman was a huge, surprise plot twist. Masterfully done and it had nothing to do with being woke. If anything it allowed us to see the deep love, non sexual, between these two boyhood mates. Not just friends but brothers, no matter what body they had. So it's with deep sadness that this all has been done. How many other stories like mine are there? How many people made connections over the decades because of hiring the best of writers. Writers who cared about the characters and conveying great stories that made you think. Pulled on heart strings. This is the true death of writing for the Modern Audience. It divides people instead of bringing them together.
I did not grow up with Dr Who, but this did make me think of one example of how "woke" writing manipulates audiences, especially kids. Pay attention to how many movies portray the bully who torments the child main character as a blonde, blue-eyed white boy. How many movies portray a specifically white woman with a kind, considerate, intelligent black husband and happy children, versus portraying a white woman as unsatisfied or even abused by her loathsome white husband, and kids who clash with them? Just notice every single damn time these tropes happen in movies, shows, advertising, etc. This inverse of reality absolutely pollutes public perceptions against white people, especially white men and families. In the real world, I'm not afraid of some blonde, blue-eyed kid sucker-punching my friend's children at school. I'm not typically afraid of the blonde, blue-eyed boyfriend knocking up his sugar-momma and abandoning her with a pregnancy, black eye, and broken nose.
@purdunetae2995 what are you on about? The gender swapping of the Master was woke. If you are so easily fooled by this because of “good writing”, you are equally guilty of the woke spread as all the other easily deceived scrubs
It's sad that the things that preoccupied my mind as a hobby of sorts, has been erased by those who don't have a hobby like ours. It's the bullies from our childhood all over again. "You nerd", "you geekizoid", "you read comics? How childish!", "Star Wars? That looks boring", "D&D?? That's the work of the devil, BURN THE BOOKS, ADD THOSE OZZY ALBUMS IN THERE TOO!" We, or I guess I can only speak for myself, but I stood up to those who did that sort of thing, or at least attempted to, growing up in the 70s and 80s. To start, the bullies, they don't have anything. But they want what you have, cause they need attention. Whatever your Fandom was back then, we didn't need attention, we had each other. The needs and geeks, doing nerd and geek things, the punks and metal heads with their hair and music, the blacks with their beakdancing and rappin, hicks with their boots and firearms, the preps with popped collars, we all sat separate, but some played D&D together, some played sports together, some listened to the same music, others enjoyed the same movies and books and would talk for hours about it. We didn't need to look for attention from others, because we had each other AND it crossed social lines. They don't want to cross social lines, they've boxed themselves into their own world. Fandom has always been open to anyone, love it, nourish it, keep it true and it will last forever. Trash it, and you'll have a fight on your hands. (Remind me of what happened to the PMRC? Are they even still around? They may have won a small sticker battle, but rap, metal, pop, rock, folk/country musicians and fans stood together and we won the fight against censorship.) Just for the record, I quit after the last jedi and WandaVision, and after the spider episode of Who. Its like a bully stole all my comics and burned them in front of me, laughing. I'm sick of all the bullshit. If it wasn't for channels like this, I would be that person who had nothing. At least we all have each other. We've been through some dark times fellows... dark times and WE always won. Except that damn sticker on albums... or Ozzy getting banned from cities... well, he did piss on the Alamo, ANYWAY...... Dark times indeed.
There will always be stories out there they can’t touch; try looking into the myths that inspired them, or even into more obscure stories in second hand shops.
@frankf684 That's not so unusual. I've encountered people who build their whole world around celebrating Christmas, planning their next foreign holiday, going to the football, or their dog/cat/car/etc. It's just the way with people. It's not bad, it's just being human.
@DoctorTimelord I've not seen a single Dr Who in maybe 30 years. When Sylvester McCoy fought the Bertie Bassett monster. I was 8 and could tell it was wank then. The fact grown adults can't is why we're on avengers 58 instead of good films and TV shows

As a lover of history, I HATE when they try to change historical characters just to push their own beliefs and current-day rhetoric that wasn't even considered back when they were alive.
It's baffling really, I understand getting representation into the shows, but it makes no sense to race change historical figures. If school kids actually learned anything at school these days, they would be rightfully confused by this.
All part of the plan. History must be erased so the new utopia can rise. Recorded in the time traveling documentary 1984 for those who wonder what this Utopia will be like

Race swapping a fictional character is one thing but race swapping a real person is something else entirely. That's straight up rewriting history. Something that just a few years ago these very same people said is evil. Yet here they are doing it. A man acknowledging another man is attractive doesn't make him gay. That is such a load of crap. I do it all the time and I'm not gay.
I just wish someone in the UK would complain to the BBC about both the obvious man hating in the first episode and race swapping a real person in this one as they are things they'd likely have to answer for. They're meant to be non political and show equal treatment (shitting on men is not equal treatment if they won't do it to anyone else and they won't). Not being there I can't but I hope someone does. I reckon there's a case.

@@robertaistrope9602 Tom Baker....I grew up watching him, loved the little scene with him and matt Smith(brilliant too)during the 50th anniversary!. Brought a little tear 😢 that did for me.
What has made me laugh is all these folks saying the Doctor has ALWAYS been gay "it was just under the surface." Okay, sure. Give me ONE example (book or tv show!) of how William Hartnell's Doctor was gay, how Jon Pertwee was gay, how Paul McGann was gay (given he's the first Doctor to kiss A WOMAN on screen), how Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy were flaming gay, how Patrick Troughton was gay. Okay, maybe you could say Peter Davison was gay cause he was a little light on the feet, but that would just be playing into stereotypes. Oh, and how John Hurt's Doctor was gay! That's 9 Doctors. So, please show how they were gay and it was just under the surface. ............ Fans are desperate to excuse this stuff.
Anyone who grew up with the classic series is probably horrified by what they have done here. I remember when the Paul McGann TV movie came out and it was dissed by the fans for (at least) two reasons: 1) the Doctor claims he's half-human, and 2) the Doctor kisses Dr Grace Holloway (Daphne Ashbrook). It causes an uproar because the Doctor was NEVER seen as "sexual." Or, as Janet Fielding used to say, "No hanky panky in the TARDIS." Remember, this was designed as FAMILY VIEWING and they were sensitive to their demographic. Fast forward to Russell T Davies and he's always wanted to sexualize the Doctor. Then, in recent panels, he said he's "messaging" children through Disney+. "Messaging?" If I started "messaging" children I don't know with sexual stories and innuendo, I would rightly be called a "perv." And what is this messaging? It's ALWAYS something sexual in nature (going forward). It's an evil world we live in.
@@thedoctor14blurayreviews75 Sounds like you're making excuses to make everything all about sex. Why is that? Do you really feel the need to equate everything to sexuality? Is that what this show is about to you? If a man has a family, is he therefore only valued by his sexual activities? Seems odd this course of reasoning. Since he is a "grandfather," can we therefore assume the series has always been patriarchal?
@@thedoctor14blurayreviews75 If we go by the books. Then all the Time Lords were created by genetic looms since all Gaillferians were left infertile after being cursed. Forgetting about the bit with wilf at the end. He's just sat there having a nice conversation with the doctor like nothing is wrong. Everyone in the background is standing round acting normally, then as soon as he says the world's gone mad everyone wigs out, going crazy, shit starts exploding and planes start crashing. Were they all just politely waiting for the doctor and wilf to finish their little catch up?

Yes, it could have been done better by making it two scenes, but I imagine they were running out of time and had to squeeze them together.
No idea of any of the background history of Dr. Who , but everyone sounded so well versed in the lore that I can appreciate all of the reverence y'all have for it.
I was hoping it would subvert our expectations an give us good Doctor Who episodes. However it's still the BBC now joined by Disney. They just could have had The Doctor,Donna and Wilfred in any Christmas situation and it would be wonderful, maybe try to eat a Turkey that turns out to be an alien that tries to eat them and have Santa help them or whatever and not destroy it with their agenda and politics.
They killed it with forceful progressivism. Always dreaded it, but wasn't sure if it would ever "progress" this far 😢 The worst of it is the awful self congratulatory behavior of T Davies & co, like they think they're made a masterpiece.
Talking about the budget, the politics and the generally poor quality of recent Dr. Who...I remember a thing Charlton Heston used to say (yes, he's a fascist, but...) : "If you want to make a bad movie, just throw money at it." The original Dr. Who and the first seasons with RTD were story-based because they didn't have any money. The moment money became a larger part of the Dr. Who the quality dropped. Now, with Disney who handle big budgets, we can expect very poor stories (see most recent for reference) and an enormous amount of ideology-pushing.
I rewatched Rebel Flesh just recently. Any subtle differences (and there are some) are basically in its favour. It was genuinely creepy and thought-provoking, despite being filmed in a castle. All those effects buy you a bit of cheap spectacle, but they can't replace a good story.
I saw a RUclips were young people were being asked about historical figures and events. One girl was showing a photo of Sir Winston Churchill. When she was quite convinced this photograph was of Shakespeare. She was asked twice and she became quite agitated and said yes, she knew Shakespeare, when she saw him! it didn’t occur to herThere were no cameras in the time of Shakespeare.. so yes, I think it is very important figures are the least recognisable, including the race.
My 19 year old got me interested in this show years ago. Great storytelling to be sure! But, Highlander was always my bag to watch and I fell off. He told me he was done after they changed him to a woman. He watched 3 episodes and was done. Amazing! He got Dr. Who toys and ush for Christmas as he loved that shiw SO MUCH! I wa surprised and checked it out. I saw why he stopped. Jesus... these days it's seems tithe case to make long standing shows/characters female and target female fans (that don't exist) and preach instead of telling good stories. Sigh...
The first special was so bad that I cancelled my D- subscription. The first one was just the Doctor going through a mandatory struggle session and they made sure we saw it. I so glad I did not see the second one, the Timeless Children has to be retcon due to the fact it made all the timelords evil.
Capaldi had some of the best speeches even if the plots fell flat a lot. I can't watch this, but I appreciate your efforts. It is the end of the Doctor as we know it, and at this point, I feel fine. Nothing is sacred any more. However, Gary I would still love a tour of your collectables! Merry Christmas!!!
I saw no sense in gender swapping the Doctor but I gave it a chance. Yes, the show was becoming more woke but with Chibnall, THE MESSAGE was being crammed down my throat. I left midway in the Doctor Impersonator's second season, fortunate enough not to watch the Timeless Child. That was the nail in the coffin for me. When I heard RTD was returning, yes, I was foolish enough to hold out hope. I decided to let you brave souls, Gary and Az watch it for me, review it. When I saw how RTD was giving the few fans left, the middle finger, I can say, I have no regrets about walking away. Doctor Who is DEAD. I'll reconstruct an ending where Capaldi never regenerated.
i really wanted jodie to regenerate into tennant as some sort of regeneration fever dream where capaldi (midlife crysis doctor) and jodie (i never watched an episode or studied the lore doctor) simply never took place, tho as much as i didnt really like capaldi and his stupid guitar and sonic sunglasses, he has become the final doctor for me, its good to see david back and i think he is doing a good job if you remove all the woke shit, but they would have been better off not renewing after capaldi i have zero hope for the next incarnation, they have already told us who he will be, there is no mystery, and no reason to watch, any hope for "Rose" was lost the minute he told the doctor to ask the alien for his pronouns...piss off and then the solidified it with the whole makeup infused degeneration of him and donna's not so subtle promotion of disney and frozen as they "let it go" im half surprised they didnt play the song
I left before Jodie, but I once watched a bit of an episode with her … honestly, I think she was terrible in the role. Stopped watching it after 15 minutes and knew that I could never watch a whole season of this.
It's the absolute height of arrogance for these shows' creators to not only ignore the fans wishes, but to actively go against them. When exactly did the customer stop being right?

The biggest problem with Isaac Newton scene is that it should never have gotten into final cut. Why even bother? It does not do anything for the plot, characters etc. apart from some gags. Rest of the episode I really enjoyed. It really felt like Doctor Who. Benchmark is low, I know, but it felt more like Who, than ANYTHING since Moffat left. Maybe the Haunting of Villa Diodati is better, but I enjoyed Wild Blue Yonder much more. And if they never even mention Timeless Child and Flux anymore, the events of Chibnall era don't matter anymore
Hope is the main difference between the left and the right. The right/conservative/truth live in hope. But the left/progressive/demonic live without hope.
Russel T Davies has no problem retconning Terry nation's Davros creation, yet insists it would be wrong for him to retcon Chris Chibnall's work. Isn't that hypocrisy? Totally agree that this is light years away from the 50th trilogy. It is an average episode that has been ruined by 'The Message', constantly taking the viewer out of the sci-fi immersion and bringing them back to the world they are trying to escape from, for a hour.
Goddamn, the use of Murray Gold's Series 4 soundtrack just made me really sad towards the end. Adding an extra layer of poignancy. From 7:54 onwards, it really hit me how far this show has fallen
Haven't you heard? Only Whyte characters (Historical or fictional) are the only race that can be race-swapped, Since according to woke Leftists Whyte people have no culture or history and aren't allowed to have pride in their race.
I enjoyed the episode, but it is frustrating to see what it could have been. It's just not good enough. I always remember what Matt Smith said in 5x10, the good things don't always soften the bad things but the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things. No matter how far this show is destined to fall, we'll always have a back catalogue to be proud of and enjoy.
It's the Celestial Toymaker. That's all the explanation you're gonna get for any of this - he brought back the 10th Doctor and Donna because he was obsessed with them. RTD has admitted that the show is embracing fantasy over scifi so don't expect anything to make any sense. Backwards regenerations, bi-regenerations, and old Doctors and companions in Tales from the TARDIS talking about wishes being granted. Why should any of us care about this show if nothing has any in-universe logic or lore anymore?
How is nobody talking about The Doctor being all but confirmed as gay now? After The Doctor and Donna meet black Newton, Donna talks about how "hot" Newton was... Doctor: "He was SO hot. Oh, is that who I am now?" Donna: "Well it was never that far from the surface, I always knew you-" before she gets cut off. I instantly rolled my eyes... For so many reasons: 1: Great... So the Doctor is now a sexualised character... And a gay one at that... Brilliant 😴. I've always viewed The Doctor as fairly asexual, yes he's had some romantic tendencies but he's never been sexual imo, he's NEVER talked about anyone being "hot" before, not in that context anyway. 2: So this is all but confirming that Ncuti's Doctor is going to be gay... And outwardly so. This is clearly the writers setting this up. When I found out about Ncuti becoming the Doctor, I figured I would reserve judgement. I thought, MAYBE, this guy has some acting range? Maybe he has the ability to play a character that isn't his usual eccentric homosexual type character (which is clearly just Ncuti in real life... Hardly ACTING, but I digress). This confirms that Ncuti will be playing the role in the exact way I was hoping he wouldn't... He isn't going to feel like the Doctor at all, he's just going to feel like "gay kid from Sex Education". Great 😴 3: As a gay man, I am SO SICK of pre-existing, beloved characters being "diversified" and made LGBT. I, for one, couldn't care less about representation - but for those that do... Just make a character that's gay (like Jack Harkness, even though he's bi), don't RETCON someone as now being gay. It's cheap and forced. It's also such an old and worn out trope that the best friend/family member "always knew" even when the person in question never knew themselves... And what's funny, is these writers don't even realise they're perpetuating a negatige stereotype about gay people - that you can just TELL who's gay and who's not... Like there's some sort of "type" or character trait outside of sucking D that somehow makes you gay. It's also completely disrespectful to the source material and makes ABSOLUTELY ZERO SENSE. The 10th Doctor NEVER showed any signs of homosexuality, never even hinted at. In fact, there was such a focus on his relationship with Rose and the possibility of him having a romantic type of love for Rose. So for Donna to turn around and basically say, "I always knew you were gay", is just an insult to the character, as retcons usually tend to be. If they REALLY wanted to go down this route of making the Doctor gay, just have Donna be surprised but happy/supportive of this new side to the Doctor... Don't try to imply that the Doctor has always been gay... It's just false and none of us are buying it.
Rosa Parks home in Detroit was broken into in 1994, she was robbed of $53 and she was assaulted. If they did that to a civil rights icon like her, there's no chance for anyone else.
When Isaac Newton was Asian, me and my sister did a simultaneous bow into a part of our hand accompanied by a long deep sigh. The villains being fractal non beings of the void was cool af tho. I quite liked the doctor having that conversation with the fake donna and having that tantrum after; gave me an existential dread vibe when you think of the existential implications, even though the whole doctor Donna thing makes no sense anymore. Like before yh, Donna got doctor's mind, that shits gonna kill her cause an earth evolved human body ain't gonna handle centuries of memories through time and space. But now she remembers it again and won't die cause she had a kid, (and I relatively liked how they incorporated the trans thing in the story) but it doesn't make sense. And also, if you've got all the doctor's memories, I thought that meant you ARE the doctor. Cause Donna's small life is nothing in comparison to the doctor's, who's also dealt with alternate lives (namely when he was John Smith with Martha, or the whole timeless child thing) so wouldn't Donna cease to be Donna anymore. She'd just be the doctor in Donna's body with her few memories. I dunno tho, I don't usually leave comments this long. Just finished work and I'm mildly stoned (I smoke em on the way back)
"Only gay actors should play gay characters." I'm totally on board with this. As long only straight actors are allowed to play straight characters. (hear that, Ezra?)
The irony is that a straight actor had to play a gay character in Will and Grace because the gay actor who auditioned for the part was too gay! The double irony is that same gay actor was recently axed from Dr Who due to his unacceptable sexual behaviour on set.

Wild blue yonder I watched 5 minutes before I switched off. I'm done - I tuned out of Who just over half way through Capaldi run. I completely avoided Whittaker, but thought I'd give the 60th specials a go. Wish I hadn't....the over bearing messaging is worse than ever - completely over the top and the story is playing second fiddle to the message. As seems to be the way nowadays, they are retconning characters and past stories to fit or ram the message down the viewers throat - the retconning is the most unforgivable. Craping over what went before and shattering fans love of the show.
I started to seethe with The Star Beast didn't bother with the second one. Think l will start from the first Dr William Hartnell to watch in the next couple of weeks.

@@fffx2 yep and stocked his books on the shelves in episodes whenever he could.

They got the brief wrong. It was supposed to be horror, not horrible.
It's a kind of horror, where WE'RE living it.
Missy was woke. The Master cannot change his sex.
And that's why they target children. Young minds are impressionable.
I'm not typically afraid of the blonde, blue-eyed boyfriend knocking up his sugar-momma and abandoning her with a pregnancy, black eye, and broken nose.

wow Az's comments on hope almost had me in tears. Dr Who has betrayed the greatest fan base
Doctor Who hasn’t betrayed the fanbase. The custodians of Doctor Who have betrayed The Doctor, and everything that he represents.
That's the work of the devil, BURN THE BOOKS, ADD THOSE OZZY ALBUMS IN THERE TOO!"
We, or I guess I can only speak for myself, but I stood up to those who did that sort of thing, or at least attempted to, growing up in the 70s and 80s.
They may have won a small sticker battle, but rap, metal, pop, rock, folk/country musicians and fans stood together and we won the fight against censorship.)
Just for the record, I quit after the last jedi and WandaVision, and after the spider episode of Who.

The MOST IMPORTANT SCIENTIST IN HUMAN HISTORY!!!
@keithbk but the doctor has to be a sexual being as he is a grandfather
@@thedoctor14blurayreviews75 Sounds like you're making excuses to make everything all about sex. Why is that? Do you really feel the need to equate everything to sexuality? Talking about the budget, the politics and the generally poor quality of recent Dr. Who...I remember a thing Charlton Heston used to say (yes, he's a fascist, but...) : "If you want to make a bad movie, just throw money at it."
The original Dr. Who and the first seasons with RTD were story-based because they didn't have any money. The moment money became a larger part of the Dr. Who the quality dropped. Now, with Disney who handle big budgets, we can expect very poor stories (see most recent for reference) and an enormous amount of ideology-pushing.
I really love RTD said this "story" hadn't been done before. Check out Rebel Flesh and the Almost People. Which was so much better
I rewatched Rebel Flesh just recently. Any subtle differences (and there are some) are basically in its favour. It was genuinely creepy and thought-provoking, despite being filmed in a castle. All those effects buy you a bit of cheap spectacle, but they can't replace a good story.

No matter how far this show is destined to fall, we'll always have a back catalogue to be proud of and enjoy.
I cancelled my bbc tv licence... Im not paying for my childhood memories to be screwed up anymore 😂
It's a "special" because our favorite Doctor is back. That's it.
It shows the sheer hubris of RTD that they declare these "60th anniversary specials" based solely on them having RTD and his team returning for them.
Yes. It feels more like a farewell tour.
Best I can tell is everything is unraveling. Only for it to get reassembled again for better or for worse.
Reading the Reddit comments for when G&G shared an article about this:
Man I thought the two British civil wars were chaotic, hot damn!
How is nobody talking about The Doctor being all but confirmed as gay now?
After The Doctor and Donna meet black Newton, Donna talks about how "hot" Newton was...
Doctor: "He was SO hot. Oh, is that who I am now?"
Donna: "Well it was never that far from the surface, I always knew you-" before she gets cut off.
I instantly rolled my eyes... For so many reasons:
1: Great...
Great 😴
3: As a gay man, I am SO SICK of pre-existing, beloved characters being "diversified" and made LGBT.
@NERDROTIC_DAILY_
I'd love that!
Not coming soon on Netflix: a US 60s civil rights mini-series, starring James McAvoy as Dr Martin Luther King Jr and Johnny Depp as Malcolm X.
Ya wanna great laugh...watch Donna running
Until they let me remake Shaka Zulu starring Tom Holland there will be no peace between our peoples.
What do you suppose would happen if Dr Who race or gender swapped Rosa Parks?
You see, it's the fans of Dr.Who who are the enemy.
It wouldn’t be stunning and brave, we can be sure of that.
Just finished work and I'm mildly stoned (I smoke em on the way back)
"Only gay actors should play gay characters."
I'm totally on board with this. As long only straight actors are allowed to play straight characters. (hear that, Ezra?)
Or the correct colour of person.
The irony is that a straight actor had to play a gay character in Will and Grace because the gay actor who auditioned for the part was too gay! The double irony is that same gay actor was recently axed from Dr Who due to his unacceptable sexual behaviour on set.
1:50 That tweet. Wow. I’ll remember that when I release my show where we go back in time and visit white Martin Luther King and I’ll defend myself by citing the scene where he won WW3 with a hockey stick.
I can guarantee one thing - I will not watch a single minute of the next episode.
Star beast - I watched the whole thing, right to the sickening end.
As soon as Capaldi got the gig I was out... watched one Jodie episode... and was glad I left when I did!
I’m waiting for the white washed Malcolm X episode.
I'm waiting for the protests, riots, looting and all the new trainers/sneakers you'll suddenly see on the streets.
