the build up to the reveal of Washington in 'of their own accord' still takes my breath away, the horrifying eas in the intro, the medical area underground, the severe shaking and not knowing where you are, then when you leave and see the destruction while the music builds is just... undescribable. I wish I could play that mission for the first time again

What part of this is choppy? Just because there is two stories in one doesn’t mean that you can’t fallow it. Let’s all take a moment and appreciate how much of a skilled hand-to-hand combat fighter Shepherd is, despite his betrayal. He survives a helicopter crash, dodges a melee attack by Soap only to take him down like a bitch, and eventually overpowers Price, who is a highly trained SAS. All the while is appears to be a 50-60 year old man. We all know Price would have been killed if Soap hadn’t had intervened.

I love Nikolai as a character. He's a "background" character that provides short little bursts of comic relief while also contributing to the progress of the game with intel, evac, etc. He's a well done character in this game. Most characters are well done in the Modern Warfare series.

Man, this game brings back so much memories. One of the best Modern Warfare games ever made in my opinion. I was non stop playing it when it came out. That and Black Ops 1. I still play it today. Its old but good. Love the video!
This is the first COD game and one of the first FPS games I've ever played. I heard nothing about it at the time, I had no expectations, I just expected to carry out some generic missions assigned to me while I have fun shooting stuff. I will never forget the emotion I was experiencing near the end. When I got shot by Shepherd out of nowhere, my immediately reaction was legit to shout "Ghost look out!", I'm not even mad that Shepherd just murdered me, I'm just so sad Ghost and I die like this. I remember that whole boat chase and last mission was probably the most I've ever immersed myself into a video game, it felt as if I'm avenging an actual friend and I must not fail no matter what. Such an incredibly well-made campaign. Really wish I could have my memory for this game reset so I can experience that thrill once more.

First FPS campaign i've ever played, and played the hell out of it, completing the campaign some 20 times on veteran. i didn't enjoy any call of duty campaigns from this one onwards, except for mw remaster. This campaign is just epic, the immersion and pace are perfect. would buy this again just for this campaign. maybe it´s just nostalgia, but the feeling of playing this campaign will never be matched for me in an fps

Man, this game brings back so much memories. One of the best Modern Warfare games ever made in my opinion. I was non stop playing it when it came out. That and Black Ops 1. I still play it today. Its old but good. Love the video!
I remember I used to watch my older brother play this when we first got an xbox 360 with this game, good memories
This is the first COD game and one of the first FPS games I've ever played. I heard nothing about it at the time, I had no expectations, I just expected to carry out some generic missions assigned to me while I have fun shooting stuff.
I will never forget the emotion I was experiencing near the end. When I got shot by Shepherd out of nowhere, my immediately reaction was legit to shout "Ghost look out!", I'm not even mad that Shepherd just murdered me, I'm just so sad Ghost and I die like this. I remember that whole boat chase and last mission was probably the most I've ever immersed myself into a video game, it felt as if I'm avenging an actual friend and I must not fail no matter what.
Such an incredibly well-made campaign. Really wish I could have my memory for this game reset so I can experience that thrill once more.

Hearing this at such a young age stuck with me, this game is nothing short of a Renaissance, art has always been so static but still makes you feel so viciously, adding the fluidity and at the same time stifling aspect of choice and level of difficulties,
This obviously deserves more likes.
First FPS campaign i've ever played, and played the hell out of it, completing the campaign some 20 times on veteran. i didn't enjoy any call of duty campaigns from this one onwards, except for mw remaster. This campaign is just epic, the immersion and pace are perfect. would buy this again just for this campaign. maybe it´s just nostalgia, but the feeling of playing this campaign will never be matched for me in an fps
