i understand this feeling completely 😂 the nice thing about hotswap keyboards is you can change switches prettyy easily, so you can try different switches later on! ....that's how you fall down the rabbit hole and become addicted to keyboards just like me...

@@mintsludge I feel like I am already slipping down the rabbit hole, mint, and I can't be saved 🫡 I see you offer a bunch of options including Keychron, though I don't see the Q3 Max (TKL). Would you not recommend that keyboard? The design looks really clean and it seems to have everything I'd need 🤔 Keychron's site also shows a bunch of layers (including foam, film, etc.) that go into the Q3, so could it still be improved with tape/foam mods or is it okay enough as-is? Then to decide on switches and keycaps oml... these sound KTT matchas sound good but so do many others !!

@@cowslaw i've never used a Q3 Max before and the only Q series of Keychron I've used was a Q7. Personally, i didn't have any issues with the keyboard itself and my main reason for not selling or recommending them is based on the pricing alone. I think they are way overpriced; the barebones being almost 200$ is crazy. If you get them on sale or just really like the design then i'd say go for it though! but for around the same price you could get a ZoomTKL or Neo80 that have so much more customization options and, in my personal opinion, sound way better.
