I have a TH9 and it has been absolutely flawless. Also have a TH40, and while I haven't put as many rounds through it - still has been flawless. I'd trust my life with either.

I just bought a th9 a few days ago. It's my first firearm. I'm excited to take a gun safety class, and concealed/carry class soon. I want to take it to a range so bad, and get some rounds in!

Make sure to give it a good cleaning and lubrication before taking it to the range. When you’re in the market for a holster we make them for the TH9. www.DefenseTraining.org/Holsters

Welcome to the Taurus family! My first gun is a G3 and I'm happy it was my first.

It was my first legally bought pistol. And now I have over three thousand rounds through it and it's been great! The only downside is the finish. It Ware's fast but there's always cerakote. And the front sight came loose but once again easy fix. Great gun and it has all the Bell's and whistles!!

@@chrisbohanon403I prefer the customized or worn look, took my full size w Lakeline barrel g3 finish down slowly and lightly with green scotch bright pad after a little 220 then 400 grit sandpaper. I gotta tell ya it looks like a serious ball breaker, it took absolutely no value away as it can easily be cerikoted if I want and so scratching, scuffing etc. is a non issue as it's basically a grey'd look / worn stainless look, I love it.

I've never owned or shot a th9 but I do love my G3. I also really like the G2C. I have an older pt111 G2 and I actually like it better than my wife's newer G2C. I'd love to try a th9 though

I just purchased a Taurus TH9 to add to my Taurus collection and will be picking it up from my FFL today or tomorrow. I own several different brands like S&W, CZ, Ruger and others but I really enjoy my Taurus collection of about 9 pistols. I'm looking forward to getting the TH9 to the range and running it against my G2C, G3, GX4 and my TX22. I have the Lakeline LLC threaded barrel and micro compensator on my G2C. Thanks for the video and keep shooting 👍.

I’ve had an optic on my Th9c for well over a year. Lakeline sells the plate. I also changed the sights, Galloway mag extension & surefire x300 light.

The only downside to the TH9 is lack of after
market support. Beck even Taurus treats it like a redheaded step child.

It's sad that they forgot the left handers of the shooting world when designing the TH9C. But as a southpaw, I've learned to adapt. I can hit the safety with my forefinger, or carry it without the safety on.

Does it take a lot of effort to go from safety to neutral shoot and down to decocker? Like can you accidentally thumb down too hard to decock the hammer when turning off the safety?

    • @exotiq7754
      @exotiq7754 7 месяцев назад

It's a complete separate motion. Even under extreme duress, I don't think anyone would accidently decock the TH9 or TH9C

They do take the same magazine. You have to take the space off the G3.

Actually the magazine from the TH 9 will fit the G 3, but not the other way around.
The center square hole for the TH 9 magazine is the difference. 😉

Had the same issue. The barrel and slide were actually contacting during operation and deformed the slide. Sent it back to Taurus and after 4 months they sent me a brand new pistol. So far the new one from Taurus has been great. Actually renewed my faith and I would consider another Taurus. In fact I bought the TX22 and it is awesome.

I have both the TH9 and the G3. I absolutely love both of them. I also own both the TH9c and the G3c. Again they are both a wonderful weapon. The best thing about all these weapons is that the normal everyday common man or woman can afford them. The main idea is that Taurus is making the self defense community possible for everyone.
