    This classy 1955 Chevrolet 210 Custom was designed and built to be the ultimate Tri-Five Chevy restomod. The entire build was documented with hundreds of photos from start to finish by well-known Metal Works Speed Shop located in Eugene, Oregon.
    The exterior of this 55 Chevy is truly remarkable with its stylish bodylines and superior quality throughout. It's literally rolling artwork! During the restoration process countless hours were invested in ensuring the body was laser straight with precise gaps. The gas filler door on the driver's side rear quarter was removed and shaved for smooth appearance. The filler was relocated behind the driver's side rear taillight which was fabricated to open electronically with a switch in the interior center console. The emblems were also removed for a smooth appearance. The body was painted in a two-tone color combination of Dark Silver and Deep Black. The paintwork is exceptional and was recently detailed to a highly reflective finish. The car has a perfect stance on Budnik Famosa polished 19” and 20” wheels. These wheels are advertised from Budnik as “The ultimate five-spoke splined knock off wheel”. The wheels are wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that are 235/40/19 on the front and 335/30/20 on the rear. The rear end was fabricated with mini-tubs to accommodate the larger rear wheels and tires.
    The interior of this 55 Chevy looks it was done at a high-end new car manufacturer. The craftsmanship is second to none with the fabrication and functionality. The doors open so nicely and it reeks of fresh cut leather! The interior is trimmed with beautiful chrome throughout. The one piece embossed headliner was upholstered in black leather and setup with a dome light. It's also equipped with LED lower interior lighting for nighttime visibility. Hundreds of hours were invested in fabricating the metal dash which was painted black. The dash was outfitted with two chrome trimmed Dakota Digital pods that include a speedometer, tachometer, volt meter gauge, fuel level gauge, oil pressure gauge and temperature gauge. A custom leather wrapped panel with four vents was added to the lower section of the dash. The black leather upholstery continues on the kick panels, door panels, quarter panels and seating surfaces. The leather is decorated in a custom material and chrome trim on the door panels. It was outfitted with a set of custom power operated bucket seats with seat belts. It was also outfitted with a set of matching rear bucket seats with seat belts. The rear section of the console is wrapped with black leather which continues in between the rear seats and onto the rear package shelf. The truck lid pivots on billet hinges. The entire compartment was boxed and upholstered in matching black leather with custom material. An Optima Red Top battery with charger sits behind the main panel which is easily accessible.
    The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout with many upgrades. The fabricated firewall and inner fenders were painted Dark Silver. The custom radiator support brace was painted Light Silver. The hood pivots on aluminum hinges and the backside was painted black. It's equipped with a chrome brake booster and Wilwood master cylinder. It's powered by a GM Performance LS3 V8 create engine that's rated with 430HP. The engine is setup with a MSD fuel injection system and Edelbrock throttle body. The engine is dressed with a Wegner Motorsports serpentine system with black accessories, painted valve covers and custom intake. The engine is cooled by a custom Ron Davis Racing Products aluminum radiator with dual SPAL electric fans and billet overfill canister. The engine breathes through Ultimate headers and a fabricated dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The exhaust exits discreetly under the corners of the rear bumpers. The engine is coupled to a GM Performance 4L65 automatic transmission which was supplied as part of the “Cruise and Connect package”.
    The undercarriage is also highly detailed throughout with many upgrades. The new floors were painted in satin black for a clean appearance. The body sits on an Art Morrison chassis which was also painted black. The chassis serial number is #01161282 as indicates on the ID plate on the front section. Some of the custom features include a stainless fuel tank, power rack and pinion steering, tubular upper and lower control arms, coil over shocks, 4-link rear, Wilwood drilled rotors and black calipers and E-Stopp power emergency braking system.
