Storm Chase Ends With Monster Shelfcloud! Chase 24-5-2021 (CC)

24-05-2021 For today, there were chances for waterspouts on the IJsselmeer, Markermeer and Waddenzee. We thought we should take this opportunity to capture it. Except for a small weak funnel we were soon overwhelmed by a storm with an arcus cloud. After seeing that we got the feeling that the showers in the evening could also provide nice structures. and it happened. A monster shelf cloud with even fractus from the ground moved from south to north over our country. From west to east across the Netherlands. Some epic lightning strikes and cool structures are captured on video. Very successful chase, if you ask us.
