How to unlock World 3-Castle:
1: Clear World 3-4 with the moving ice platforms and where the Fire Bros. appear and find the secret exit to unlock World 3-5.
2: Enter World 3-5 to reach the green pipe with a propeller box or Propeller Mario then get to the goal to unlock the Switch palace. This level is now vertical and lacks a Checkpoint Flag.
3: Use the switch palace to turn the hidden blocks into solid red blocks in both World 3-4 and World 3-5 into solid red blocks in the map.
4: Enter World 3-4 with all the hidden blocks are turned into soild red blocks to find a red pipe into the icy cave where the Goombas are on the bridge of soild red blocks to exit to another red pipe then reach the goal to unlock World 3-Castle.
World 3-Castle Star Coin Locations:
1: Jump on the circus balls bouncing on a spiked platform to reach onto the row of donut blocks while using the Ice Snake Block.
2: Destroy an ice block on the left with a Bob-omb spawned out of a green pipe to get the star coin.
3: Land onto a short row of donut blocks above the bottomless pit under an Ice Snake Block where the red ring appears.

I don’t understand why the hell you would want to settle for an ice flower instead of the penguin when they both power-ups have ice but the penguins power-up lets you slide. (2:56).

I’d rather use the Ice Flower when I need to freeze enemies because it technically already had its ice balls in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. The Penguin Suit just copied it, as well as the Frog Suit from SMB3. Heck, even the Blue Shell from the original NSMB let you belly-slide across _anything,_ not just ice. I’m probably the only one that doesn’t like the Penguin Suit (because it’s just a clone of other Power-Ups and it tried to convince us that it’s something new), and I wish it didn’t exist, tbh. I can see why other people like it, though.

World 3-Castle is unlockable by completing World 3-4 while the cube is red. Inside the castle has ice cubes, Ice Snake Blocks, giant icicles, donut blocks and spiked platforms where the circus balls are used for the players to bounce higher into the air. When leading through the boss door, a snowy wind blows and the crystals can be heard twinkling in the corridor.
