thank you - very very beautiful! you use 'natural' hair brushes (sorry my bad english), i think they hold the water better than synthetics ... i have some they are (red)marten?-imitation :) would you say i could achieve a same result, is there a big difference in painting with imitations or synthetics? thank you :)
Thank you for watching this video! I'm using different types of brushes at the moment. but actually my favorite is synthetic, BABARA 20R Series. :P I used one of them for the final touch of this painting. I think each brush has a different use...as you said, a natural hair brush holds lots of water, but sometimes it's tricky to deal with. I don't know which brush you are using now, but would recommend you try just one or two brushes you want to know about. and also I want to say something...are you painting on watercolor paper?? Using watercolor paper is more important than changing brushes and paints... :)
@@SAGAKSAGAK thank you very much! this helps me already. I use Brushes called Goya the marten imitations and da Vinci synthetics, also i love the water tank pencils but i think they are not well fort this ... paper i use different ones: for example Canson Montreal and i really like the Hahnemühle Bamboo (mixed Media) but i also used Fabriano and how they all are called :) i only don't want to pay 20 Euros or more for it because i am not good with this (yet - or never lol). thanks again for your answer! --- edit: earlier i liked to paint with acrylics and somehow i can't find the path to watercolor. i always tend to overdo :(
Thank you for watching! Basically, the purple I used is Holbein Permanent Violet and I mixed some other colors, such as Crimson Lake, Rose Madder and Olive Green. :)
