    I´am driving a Stelvio since 3 years ( 60.000 miles ). I had no problems at all. The car looks gorgeous in his Misano blue color with yellow calipers., The power, the steering and the perfect automatic gearbox make it so much fun to drive. If you like a car that just brings you from A to B buy a german car, if you like a brilliant infotainment buy a Playstation, but if you really like to DRIVE a car then go for an Alfa Romeo.

    It's easily one of the first options to look for when we want or need a SUV and love the pleasure of driving a machine.
    Most people can't imagine how well it drives compared to other cars - and I'm not talking about SUVs, I'm talking about cars in general.
    My Stelvio is already one year old. The best car I ever owned. It makes me smile every single day I drive it.
    Thank you everybody at the Cassino plant for the passion and engineering we find in this vehicle. What an amazing car!

    My wife drives the 2020 stelvio for last 3.5 years. She chose that over macan, Q5, and GLC after driving all of them. It’s been fabulous so far. Thanks Alfa for making a car that you want to drive . I don’t know why more Americans don’t buy these, it’s a puzzle to me.

    Alfa factory is like a museum of design, workers are masters of craft and art. I am a proud owner of 2017 Stelvio.

    I own a 2019 Stelvio. Aside from a recent problem with the fuel pump, the car has been very reliable. It’s so much more fun to drive than anything else. I thought about trading it in for a new BMW X3 but they seem so boring to me now.

    Great job Italians. Now add a second larger SUV that will compete with Q7 and X5 or X6 and name it Alfa Romeo Castor

    I was in love with my Giulia and Alfa Romeo as a brand, however, I will never again buy/recommend another Alfa Romeo in my life. I had the brake by wire system fail on me and it caused me to crash and total the car. They sent someone from Bosch to diagnose the vehicle and in the charts it clearly showed that something malfunctioned (brakes were slammed 2 seconds before the impact at 40 MPH and it took more than 1.5 seconds for the speed to start going down.) Stellantis told me that they were not going to take responsibility for it and that I needed to have my insurance pay for the vehicle. Absolute garbage. I will never recommend this car brand to anyone again! Buy an AUDI, BMW or Mercedes instead!!

      Sorry to hear that you had such a rough go with the Alfa. From what we saw it was a very modern factory with a lot of pride and in some respects more advanced than other traditional sports sedan / sport SUV constructors.

      If the electronic braking system failed, Alfa would need to do a recall under EU product safety law (General Product Safety Directive). Why hasn't that happened?

    • @aaronc1500
      @aaronc1500 Год назад +1

      @@paulgregory777 It happened in the US. So maybe that's why?

      I find this difficult to believe. If the brakes failed under warranty the brand would be responsible. No ifs or buts. I have one and no of no such recall either.

      @@DavidM-mb1vx It was difficult for me to believe as well. Especially since, at the time, I believed alfa was a good brand. That was not the case though. I had one person on this platform tell me that alfa knew about the issue, but they simply swept it under the rug and fixed it on the next years models. Very shady and very unsafe. Glad you haven't had any issues though, I hope it stays that way.

    Oh and my brakes failed on my MB r class causing my wife to run a red and narrowly miss a collision. Car had under 70kms. Hydualic line failed. Should we never buy another MB?
