"Used to be really intimidating for me." Really? Can't imagine why, ha ha. The traffic volume was fine, but the wrong-way drivers and the intersections and traffic circles with merging flows of motorbikes were crazy. I used to ride a motorcycle in Taiwan in the late 80s and 90s, but we had lights at all the major intersections at least. To be fair, I think this may be more scary for a watcher than for the driver, who would have a greater sense of control. (Like basketball players who say they get more nervous watching their team play from the bench.)
Because before living here I had never driven in such hectic traffic with such little traffic laws (This was the chilllllest day) just showing a relaxing drive here next tuesday I will be showing what it’s normally like on the way to work lol
