Super director Vinayan .....
We can know a good person just by the way they speak. Director Vinayan is truly a pure hearted person who has been trpubled by others who think that they are gods. Though we make fun of his films that have come out in the past 15 years, we shouldn't forget about his unique movies with unique concepts that he has given us in the past. A movie like Albudhadveebu is truly an original and unique idea from a director in indian cinema. Many such uniquely talented people like him have been treated badly by such Mafia's in every Industry. I respect Mr Vinayan for fighting against what he felt was wrong in his industry. Talented directors like Hitchcock gave his biggest hit movie "Psycho" when he was 61 years old. I would never disrespect a talented director like him irrespective of his age and recent bad movies because a talented person can deliver a masterpiece at any age. These mafia people should understand that the universe doesn't revolve around them... This reminds me of a quote by "Voltaire"... "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"

During the MACTA meeting, director Siddique who is working with Dileep in his next project, requested to solve the entire issue amicably.He also said he can't remove Dileep from his next project and importance must be given to cinema not unions.But Gen Sec Vinayan replied that union is more important.Then he said that 'most of the directors want to make cinema even by selling their own wives'.This vile remark made by Vinayan against Siddique,who is a top director and very popular and widely respected among his collegeues caused an outrage in the meeting.This also prompted most of the directors to resign from MACTA.
