Love it. The low perspective and wide FOV make it appear even faster than it actually is I'm guessing. Nice job staying anonymous with blur tracker too.😅
Thanks. Well, not really. Anyone who has ever filmed a car driving from the inside knows that capturing a realistic sense of speed, especially one that feels genuinely fast, is challenging. I've often been disappointed with how my footage looked in previous videos; despite pushing the limits while driving, it always ended up appearing dull. However, I believe I've managed to achieve a truly realistic sense of speed this time. It doesn’t just look fast; it truly is fast!
this is simply excellent, what kind of engine is in this E36, as well as the gearbox, I have an E34 and soon I will be assembling a 3L stroker, very beautiful video, just for BMW lovers, thank you
I have a m54 to throw in my 318 as well glad to know I can use the same gearbox, what’s driveshaft you using? I just need a Rwd sump, what else am I missing I think I need electronic pedal fuel lines etc…
Incredible footage. The cockpit view is so crisp and wide. Do you use a mirrorless camera with wide lens for this stuff or is this with a gopro or something like that? Because the dynamic range is unreal. I also love the look of these E36’s, how did you find one? You work on them yourself? I’m looking to get one but i don’t find much here where I live. Kind regards, keep it up!
Thank you so much! It’s a GoPro. You need an action camera for this type of footage because of the stabilization it offers. The dynamic range is excellent, but a lot of editing is required to enhance its appearance even further. It's my friend's E36, and yes, he works on it himself, and sometimes I help him. While they are becoming pretty rare, I'm sure you can still find a stock 4-cylinder E36 like this one was, quite easily. 😃
Awesome video! How do you reduce the "road background noise" with the audio? I'm keen to do similar videos with an e34 m5 through the hills of Cape Town.
Nice car, nice driving :) I like your videos 😁 What's Diff und gearbox? PS: your country is beautiful 😊 Greetings from E34 driver from Bavaria, Germany
I think it's just the sound of the air going into the intake when the throttle body is partially open. You can hear it stop when it's fully open. Mic is 2cm away from the filter, that's why you can hear everything 😀
E46 for daily use 100%, but for spirited driving and simply enjoying the car, I prefer the E36! It's crazy how much more 'muted' and 'soft' the E46 feels compared to the E36! However, those qualities make the E46 a better choice for daily driving :) Depends on what you want in a car!

So glad I came across this! I have an E36 318is too and will be doing the same M54b30 swap as soon as funds allow. This is inspiration.
Big balls big engine! greetings from a slavic brother🤙 stay safe!
i like when shift knob waves from side to side due to g forces
what a sick angle from inside the car
Such a crazy throttle response
Great car, great roads and great driving!
Wow it sounds even better than the stock e46 m3

It’s an M54B30 and the original 318is gearbox. That’s sick! Thanks 😃
After your advice i started watching e36 videos 😂👌

@@OGBemfa thanks. I sent you a pm
Dude, where did you place the microphone inside the car? This sound is awesome. 😮
One is infront of the air filter and the other one is above the exhaust in the rear. The cabin sound is recorded by the camera
Another great vid and sounds insane! U know what air intake is installed? Cheers
Yeah it's just a simple cold air intake from Racing Dynamics. Originally it was meant for a BMW M6 (V10), but it fits on this one aswell
@@OGBemfa thank u mate, intakes getting higher on my priorities 😅
Just a great car/road/driver combo! how u set-up the camera for this pov? where you place it and how?
Thank you! It's mounted on the passenger seat headrest with a special mount.
M50 manifold? Nice sound!
Nope, standard m54 manifold
Carbon intake and golden! What mic do you use and where is it placed? would love to film some clips of my m54b30 with full eisenmann race system :D
It’s just a normal cheap Lavalier mic… I place it directly at the intake and above the exhaust.
Nice car, nice driving :)
I like your videos 😁

what causes that slight hissing sound around 2500 rpm ?
