- its been a while since we gave this game a go but ive missed it alot! tons of new strats have been discovered and a new LS route which is significantly more optimized than what i had done in the past. Garey currently has the WR and a lot of these new discoveries were his doing! I'll be running this game again for the foreseeable future and obviously i'll upload my pbs here :)

Yeah same, my most favorite childhood and early teenhood games were GTA games and Half-Life games, so combining them together like that is something incredible.

how did you get the base game? i've always wanted to know this
I'm curious how the techniques for this run would differ if you took Half-Life style fall damage while in HL movement mode. It'd be a lot slower and probably not as much fun, as you wouldn't be able to jump from one side of the map anymore without dying.
Imagine grenade jumping, or rocket jumping at the very least.
To be fair, if you know the right landing spots (buildings with optimal height) or slopes to surf your velocity away at it should be doable at a somewhat similar pace.
Hell, even puddles of water would be enough to negate your fall damage.

Green goo strat is part of the half life mod, i have a tutorial for this mod if anyone would like to try it themselves. I wouldnt pay much mind to this person they are either trolling or completely uninformed.
