This painting is Stunning Cathleen. The greens are just super lucious. Love Lily Pad and the Echeveria with the teal color paint ( forgot name) but it's gorgeous. When you tilt the painting in the light it just glows and the sheen is awesome. Another favorite.

Hi Cathleen, firstly I want to apologise for not having commented in a wee while. I’ve recently had surgery to remove part of my left kidney due to a slow growing cancer. This has made me realise just how short life is and I am now planning a trip for USA in approximately 18 months. I saw all the shimmer in the last one! So 😍 pretty! I like your paper towel and plastic cover Swipes. They turn out great. I learned how to Swipe from you! I'll have to practice palette knife swiping too. It's kind of hard. Lol. Molly ( Molly's Artisty) is really great at it so I watch her. Pretty soon it'll be a breeze for you I'm sure, and I'm keeping my eye out for your plans for bloom Swipe. ☺️

It’s in the video above. It’s Amsterdam titanium white and Amsterdam lamp black. They are both mixed with Aussie Floetrol. One part paint to three parts Aussie Floetrol 😊

@@COZCreationsArt Yes... same with me. And I do not like it. May be this might help: I found out the reason is beginning to think, to compare the piece with what I had in mind before starting it. The intuition slips slowly away and I can't hold it any longer. It's sort of steping back from just doing whatever will happen and the thinking and judging kicks in. Painting is no longer comfortable and satisfying in itself. It can even become a fight against myself. Recently I found it helps to stop when thinking gets me and to leave the rest for embellishment a few days later. And mostly there is no reason anymore to embellish. The painting says what it had to say in that moment. I hope I didn't offend with my thoughts. And may be they don't apply to you at all. You are much more experienced than I am und you truly did a lot of masterpieces since you started your channel.

Every time I use house paint it cracks.
Jerri i cover my painting so it dries very slow. Plus i put very thin layers down on my canvas
