Don't fret over people being ugly...many many people get those when they upload RUclips videos...many jerks with nothing to do... Thanks for the upload..I have to clean out that exact part..looks so gross...machine did work properly...😉👍
It's kind of a pain, and since the screws thread into plastic without threaded inserts, there are only so many times you can do that before they no longer hold.
What is the tool. I bought mine in 98 used one time & been sitting since. Been in the attic since 2013 & there’s a lot of dirty clumps of dust in the very area you cleaning
Sorry, but I don't do next video requests because they've delayed others many times in the past and unfortunately I haven't had anyone to hold the camera other than my sister on occasion. I do plan on getting a tripod down the road eventually, but maybe next time I do a how to video I'll have something to hold the phone or camera.
Well we just took ours apart and cleaned it out. But do yourself a favor and invest in a small tripod. They don't cost much. We'll see how ours work. We haven't used it in 15 years! Frankly I just wanted to rent a heavy duty one and be done with it.

you know you can use a Philips screw driver to take the nozzle cover off to clean it right?

There is crude under the front plastic part. How do you get it loose enough to clean it?

Nozzle clean out tool.
I use an air compressor to blast the gunk out of the rotating brushes. Fast and easy
Aha ... take the dirt out of the carpet and into the steamvac, then put it back into the carpet.
It didn’t stay in the carpet for long, I ran the Hoover Conquest after I cleaned up the Steamvac
It looked like a workshop or garage anyway.
Next video have someone hold the camera for you. I miss a lot not being able to see exactly what you are demonstrating.
