Not a win win situation been using them for 2 years and I seriously regret it also reduces color vibrancy.the only reason I'm using it is cause it lasts longer than normal tempered glass@@xxlegendxx2439
Some people hate the feel of matte tempered glass and also if your screen can get brighter then glare won't be much of an issue. So that means the only difference of matte tempered glass and clear tempered glass would be anti fingerprint but for the cost of less sharpness
I don't mind the brightness, but pixel sharpness is important for me. So I can get anti-fingerprint, anti-glare, and smoother touch, but I will lose pixel sharpness..., this is so confusing omg
I prefer matte tempered glass. In Amoled displays I can compromise a bit with the coloura and a bit brightness drop but for me, the fingerprint smudges, the glossy reflection and the usual "sticky" annoyances makes me not go with the normal ones.
@@a.carnevale4910another disadvantage, being plastic, it easily gains a lot of scratches, resulting in smoothness and the quality of the screen goes on worse.
If you have a OLED display which is anything greater than 1080p, then you are just wasting that much of a beautiful display by putting a matt glass on it
@@anandkumarjha6599he's not saying to not put screen protector.. he is just saying that Matte ruins the OLED looks so it better to get the glossy screen protector rather than the matte
This is so true. I bought my phone almost 4 months ago. It was just recently that i finally appreciated the actual display of my phone because i decided to remove the tempered glass cause i wasn't satisfied with the display
@@zahraaa.n.7744as the guy said in the video, bright colors isn't sharp so it tends to just smoothen the color instead of making it sharp, means less eye fatigue
@tutortle1820 it still protect all the same. My phone doesn't have gorilla glass and it only use screen protector from factory which is the cheapest. I accidently drop it on 1 meter height and it still all good. Only the screen protector needs to be changed because of scratch from the fall.
I have a Samsung, and the matte doesn't affect quality at all. It is the s20 ultra and that screen is bright as hell. 1350 nits I think So putting a matte makes like like 1200nits which is not even noticeable. Amoled is sharp and 120hz still looks amazing on the matte.
Clear is what I have had through my Samsung Galaxy 3, 4, 7, 9, & 10. Won't give up my headphone jack & additional SD memory, so moving over to Sony Flagships. P.S. Our original cell phone was Motorola Bag Phones and the "Beam Me Up Scotty Flips" and wonderful Nokias. So I'll probably buy a Moto G Power 5 and put on a clear screen protector. :)
I am a user of regular screen film protector never used a tempered glass.......But I feel strain in my eyes sometime and I'm thinking to use a matte finish one but I don't know whether there is an option of matte film protector because i don't use tempered glass.
Well if your screen is brighter then glare won't be an issue which means the advantage of anti glare rlly doesnt mean anything if your phone is already bright enough. So, really it would be You get : Smoother touch, and anti fingerprint You lose : Pixel sharpness
Glossy is more clear and sharp but attracts fingers prints like mad so you’ll constantly be wiping them off cause they look terrible lol anti glare slightly decreases sharpness and clarity but resists finger prints so it’s kinda the same thing in way 😂
I can give a clear opinion - If you are a gamer and you do not use sleeve or powder then you can use matte otherwise if you are a normal user normal glass is more convenient
I prefer regular TG. I can't compromise on color and brightness, that is the main thing that wows me about my phone. Waiting for more Anti-Reflective screen protectors to hit the market. That would be a no brainer to Matte
People forget why they use tempered glass. And they use Matte so that it looks clean.. but, when you use Matte glass and your mobile falls, then the glass doesn't take any damage and the damage is transferred to display, which then affect the display directly. But in normal tempered glass, the glass gets the damaged which is soaked by the glass and then no effect happens to display.
You’ll gain:
1. Anti-glare
2. Anti-fingerprint
3. Smoother touch&feel scrolling
You’ll lose:
1. Brightness
2. Pixel Sharpness
A win win situation
POV: when you have more than 4000nits brightness , Matte is better.

Matte glass , I prefer for vision health than the touch finger prints or outside brightness as I'm an indoor guy always
