Sports hard in this game are like standard chevrolet cruze tyres
When I saw the notification I immediately thought it was a Rivals episode. I'm happy that I see 2 of my favorite cars duking it out, yet disappointed that this isn't a Rivals episode. Lmao
Same
It should be Ferrari F40 vs mclaren f1
No
In reality, the F1 doesn’t handle well...for a car which cost £640k back in 1992/3 as many owners and journalists will testify. Great engine, looks, top speed etc but handling, braking, grip aren’t great apparently. Enzo should be quicker around the track but then again, it is 10 years younger.
This is all true. But I think at a circuit like this the F1's sheer acceleration is unbeatable. However, the F1 GTR and LM rectified all the shortcomings of the original road car.
An F1 fitted with same tires as Enzo beat it at Bedford Autodrome though.

My two favorite supercars of all time!
The Enzo didn't have a chance. It has a severe understeering issue.
I already knew the F1 was gonna win. Enzo has too much mid corner understeer
Good god. Watching replays in GT can be a chore sometimes. I'll take GT Sport over Forza Motorsport 4 any day. But Forza had some great replay camera. In GT the camera is always fixed and pans for 40 seconds straight. And before you bitch about realism, they do the same thing with rally races. The best moments of rally races, especially the group B ones are the chopper cam. Which Forza seems to replicate at times.
Nice
I dont think f1s are that sqirmy in real life
it's a game bro
@@SilkCutJaguarXJR- the real dri.......
@@lonedri2890 ...ving *simulator* ?
I mean they are one Sport Hard tire and I doubt the the F1 would use those irl
The F1 is notoriously twitchy irl
In real life the F1 owned the Enzo in 1/4 mile accel and top speed.
Snakebitten really? I’d like to see the video to that as the F40 is only 0.5 seconds slower to the 1/4 mile then an F1.
@@paolov73 McLaren F1 Quarter mile time (official): 11.1 sec
Unofficial: 10.8
F40's never got close to those times.
@@paolov73 an F40 isn't anywhere near a Mclaren F1 in any feats of acceleration. The fastest recorded run for the European Mclaren F1 (without the stupid Ameritech add ons we got stateside) was a 10.7 @ 140 mph. Thats Bugatti Veyron mph.
Link:
www.automobile-catalog.com/performance/1994/1457810/mclaren_f1.html
The stateside, emmisions and crash compliant F1's were low 11's@ 134-136 mph cars with a top speed of only 224mph or so.
No stock F40 ever came anywhere near either iteration of the F1. Fastest F40 I remember reading about back in the 90's bonestock was high 11's @ aorund 123-125ish. F40 is one of my faves but cant hold a candle to an F1...
Even if you take the Ameritech version which is the one you saw thats "only" as you say .5 off that F1's time, look at the mph on both. The F1 is traveling at least 10 mph faster at the end of the 1/4 mile.
The time is a reflection of traction, the trap speed at the end of the 1/4 tells you there is no chance for an F40 against the US version F1 much less the European version that was demonstrably faster in acceleration, time and top speed in testing.
The best an Enzo trapped was 136mph if memory serves so the European F1 would demolish it especially to top speed of 243mph where the Enzo tops out 217-223mph.
Gran Turismo Sport does not reflect reality since it has the Enzo as faster accelerating and having a much higher top speed.
@@johndemeterjanzso9698 Then again, F40s are older.
@@marcobrancorsini2479 But both stood the test of time I believe.
The Enzo handles like a shopping cart compared to the F1. Got an Enzo and immediately regretted it, one of my least favourite cars in GT Sport
Charlie Denbigh Yeah even in GT5 it has too much understeer, whereas the F1 handles neutral which is amazing considering its age compared to the Enzo
@@WarpPal couple that with it's awfull brakes in gt 6 and it makes the enzo unbearable in that game
These cars should be on sports softs stock. Me and my friend had a endurance race on Monza in these 2 cars on SS tires and they were pretty similar, not much in it.
BlitzkriegRap How would that change the handling? All that would do is give more grip in corners. The Enzo doesnt understeer because of the tires primarily, its an issue inherent in the cars stock setup, maybe it has too much downforce for its power/weight, Its sibling the MC12 also beat it on the Top Gear track and that doesnt have that much downforce either.(less HP too)
@@WarpPal Well it made a difference because the car was more neutral than on SH tires. Changing the tires will not always proportionally change front/back grip due to weight distribution, aero and suspension therefore it could change the handling characteristics. For some cars in this game I think they should be on softer rubber to feel like their real life counterparts and for some I think I think they should be on harder tires when you buy them.
I love this game, but they need an option for upgrading the brakes. The Cobra 427's brakes, good god they suck.
BlueEyes WhiteDragon so the problem you have is that brake upgrades dont decrease stopping distance, your tyres do that. Unless GT is modelling brake fade theres no point in having brake upgrades.
@@leehawes901 That's not what I meant. I've tried the cobra on rss tires, but it still kind of falls short. Keep in mind that this is an older car so of course the brakes won't be that good.
