I can always see the pain in his eyes. He is so self aware now. I’m so proud he stopped the drugs and liquor it’s a step in the right direction. I feel like artist don’t get enough credit for how hard interviews can be. This is like therapy and it’s not always easy to talk through emotions and situations. The feelings he left with were probably very heavy.
Sadly, broken and hurt people, break and hurt people. MGK doesn't come across as a bad person that goes around trying to negatively impact someone else's life in any way on purpose. It's apparent that his self validation and perception come from everyone else instead of himself. I believe it's the main motivating factor behind his "cheating" accusations over the years. He needs to know and feel that he is loveable, he isn't a monster, and he is worthy, but he's landed on an unhealthy way to satisfy that emotional need for him. It's truly sad to see someone going through. I've been that person in the past and it's a miserable way to live.

Im also a generational curse breaker but i was born May 13th not the 22nd.... ive been sober, from everything going on 10yrs... and I'm such a better mom and human being than my own mother could ever imagine being. I saw a disappointing look on my sons face in regards to his grandmother my mom and i said that day ill never see that look ever again and from that moment on i cut out my entire family! Haven't looked back since. And to this day my son hasn't been disappointed again. We have to do right by our kids. Show them that they are so much better than we are or could ever be.

I just got done watching the video of jelly roll talking with the teens in the gymnasium. I would give anything in this world for jelly roll and MGK to talk to my 11 yr old with words of wisdom and encouragement, he loves you guys. He struggles with his behavior and I'm so terrified he's going to end up in jail, he's depressed, anger issues, steels, gets suspended, but i know he has such a big heart and is so smart and creative with so much potential. I wish he could see himself through my eyes.

I have systemic lupus as well. I found out last year. I have alot of lethargy and pain ive been dealing with for a long time without knowing what was happening. Im 38 years old. I had no idea MGK was. I watched a couple of great movies and thought who is this compelling actor and had no idea it was the singer. Such a talented actor and I sure hope he does more of that.
I resonate with MGK and the stories shared in this video, I fuck up and currently fuck up on a daily basis. Some people in my life did me wrong and I've been so upset, betrayed, angry, and everything else! When he mentioned what happened to his aunt and how he wanted to kill his uncle on the spot, it takes a good soul to ignore every emotion to do the right thing regardless of how they made or make you feel! I respect him so much for that choice. I've been coping with these emotions through music, and I've been listening to Jxdn, nessa, and MGK a ton!! "Hotel Diablo" and other songs by the artists i mentioned and haven't mentioned just spoke to me! I'm really grateful to be able to hear your music and connect with you. Im so sorry your slowing losing your human dementia is 1 of the worst things tht can happen to anybody its 1 of my biggest fears i worked LTC for 5yrs as a nurse make it count whtever you do remember love can actually be measured now energry wise so we never fully lose our human ENERGRY doesnt die it simply changes form like water transforms from ice to liquid im sending positive energry your way if it means anything
