Prayer and hugs. I lost my son from lung cancer. He never told anyone about his sickness and he passed away without treatment which he didn't want to undergo. Only when he passed away then we were told by the doctor about his sickness 😢😢😢. May God Bless You for your courage.

My mom fourth stage brest cancer
Breast cancer is far more curable than lung cancer. Abdominal region (pancreatic, liver, stomach) ones are have very low survival rates. Of course, chances of survival to some extent depend on at what stage it's diagnosed.

My mom started coughing in Oct, found out she has lung cancer in November. She had the best version of chemo, radio and immuno, and her condition deteriorated severely since the treatment. She passed before finishing the whole treatment program on Feb 13th, just in time to spend Valentines day with my dad in heaven.
So sorry for your loss ...my friend was diagnosed today with advanced lung cancer it has also spread ...I am broken hearted
@mandy wilson my honest opinion if I may, dont go through chemo. Lost both my parents from lung cancer, they both deteriorated extremely from it, they suffered dearly because of the treatment. Chemo is extremely damaging to the body, although the reaction is very different person to person, this is just my opinion. Do the research before agreeing with chemo.
@@Nontacticalboy I think she is having targeted therapy ...her daughter rang me and told me the doctor has to test the genetics then she will have tablets ....all I have been doing is researching ...we have the NHS here in the UK ...I just hope and pray it prolongs her life and that in the meantime they keep coming up with new medications ...my heart is in pieces

My grandmother recently passed away just within 1 month after detection of 4th stage Lung cancer. Her treatment was not even started. Doctors just did a test to know if she can take chemotherapy, but before the report came, she left us. The most sad part is that I couldn't meet her, I was just going to meet her that day. But before reaching her, she died.
Expired is not a nice way to describe a human being!
Old people can’t take chemo anyways. What’s the point of treatment? even if the treatment works there’s always fear of it coming back.

My Godfather had also all the support... we aren't rich ... In the beginning of December he got the diagnosis of lung cancer ,He started Chemo on Christmas. In mid February they couldn't continue with the treatment because his lvls were very low and got the 2nd diagnosis also last stage metastatic bone cancer ... We lost him last Thursday. He didn't even told anybody in the family that he has terminal cancer and doesn't have much time to live ... He also went to the hospital and declined the opportunity to my mom and uncle to see him like this,because he already knew he won't go home anymore ...
No. Money is not just enough. i know of several cases of cancer from which anyone over 70 hardly survived. A close friend in the mid eighties had brain cancer surgery, followed by chemo and radiation and died within a few weeks. After a late discovery at an advanced stage (failure of some doctors) a close relation who had oral cancer had lived with 2 surgeries over the years and survived for 8 years. She quite rightly refused to undergo chemo and radiation therapies
A major failure of the system is on dietary advice for cancer patients. This is also true of major metabolic diseases. I had a heart attack (unstable angina) about 25 years back. I refused bypass surgery or medical management. I worked out my diet and lifestyle based on Dr Ornish's programme. I am 83 and my BP and sugar levels are optimal. I avoid cardiologists and hope to survive for a few more years with some luck.
This young woman is tough and I wish her good luck.

Even I lost my mom of liver lungs and bone cancer. It had almost spread everywhere. When Doctor told she will be for max 3 months. I was in shock and was on ur same situation. I can understand ur pain u r suffering. God will give you strength

Stomach cancer is very hard to detect.. it usually detects in stage 4.. my aunt passed away with in a month.
Cancers are now silent killers. It's too late when get detected especially when u have poor lifestyle, bad habits and family history.
My mother hid hers, we didn't even know she was sick and five days after she was admitted to the hospital she died. Now I will never know what it was that she was sick from, think about it.
It’s on her death certificate if she died in the United States.

My father lung cancer and death 25 February. Last stage 4 diagnosis adrencarcinoma
i know 2 ladies with lung cancer, one was stage four, lost a boat load of weight, looked very old, so they gave her immunotheropy, and cured her. my other friend was stage one, got immunotheropy, its gone. little to no side effects. not sure why they didnt offer that for you, vs chemo? or did i miss something here? i see the words at the end mention immuno theropy, so, did you get that after the other treatments?

@@bmniac did know that matters, i know one is elderly (and still doing great) and the other, who i thought was elderly due to her frail and thin frame, when i saw her again after “cured” appears to be in her 30’s.
Can immuno be given before chemo in stage 4??
@@kanikagupta2456 yes, like i said above, the other lady was stage 4,, it was all over and she is still cured to this day.
@@kanikagupta2456It is dependent on what a patient responds best to. Often, it is a combination of both chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Not me Prakash. My husband. Unfortunately it has become aggressive. In Sri Lanka we don't have facilities like developed countries. He cannot get a proper treatments. Unfortunately his gene tests became negative and he cannot go for target cell treatments too. We are totally lost

The fact she had to hide she had lung cancer because of the fear that she might be perceived as someone who smokes shows that in her mind, her family would be more disappointed if she smokes/drinks than be there with her for her cancer treatment.

Hi, sorry about your situation hope you take care of yourself naturally which can help even when taking chemo or radiation. JESUS please help you .Garden of life multivitamin is great and then reinforce with more of the same vitamins for instance they have vitamin c d etc... when body has cancer it will need good vitamins whether take chemo or not. They also have vitamin c spray d and some brands will have liquid vitamins too. Intravenous vitamins can help you out as well and vitamin patches can when you don't feel like taking pills. Alkaline water is great as well and crazy water. Olive oil pills (synergy) tumeric and ginger. If taking chemo don't take tumeric while chemo in system. I had stage 4 lung cancer and in 5 other places, I refused chemotherapy and radiotherapy. I had 3 vitamin c infusions then cut out all sugar and sweeters, gluten & dairy. Had immune therapy. My last 2 scans showed No tumers.

One of my junior college here in Australia on work visa, got diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Here insurance refused to pay for the entire treatment, the public system wouldn’t accept her.
This lady had to fly on her own to India, her home town.

Without having a PET scan , how can they say it is stage 1? Once cancer is strongly suspected, the PET scan should be done before your first Chemo.
Stage n disease can be determined by biopsy or fnac test ...for knowing is cancer is spread or metastasis occur for that purpose petscan is important..

Great victory! Even I had breast cancer and I don't understand why people in India live in a state of illusion. Especially on the work front. Insensitive comments to make me feel incapable to work post bilateral mastectomy by my seniors is horrible.
After that battle of physical emotional and psychological turmoil the battle which awaits a cancer survivor is societal boycott and lack of acceptance post Cancer treatment!
I really wish people in India too have such support groups at large scale with active involvement from survivors as well as normal people too to generate awareness.
