To anyone that tries to say that Nick has a thick skin shoukd listen to the various times he explodes with disbelief at thr insults hurled at him, as if to say he doesnt deserve it when he clesrly does, and even thr way he says 'i wouldve given ir against you anyway' just to stop thr insults and to get payback, like the corrupt and biased and unfair chairman he actually was
@@gurdygroan youre the second person to accuse me of hating the show. I dont hate JAM, i just dont like how Nick.could.be sometimes. My enjoyment of the show stems from the panelists and their contributions, but Nick always has to stick his oar in despite not being nearly as.clever, witty or as funny as the actual.panelists.
@@bobbyshaddoe3004 Well firstly, don't try and ruin everyone else's enjoyment by constantly whining about it in the comments, and secondly, learn about the great British tradition of "banter", where very good friends insult each other and argue incessantly - the greater the insults and apparent ire taken by the recipient, the stronger the friendship. It is VERY clear listening to this program that you have a group of great friends thoroughly enjoying each other's company, and Mr Parsons is a vital part of that friend group. We are privileged to be allowed to listen in on them.
@@gurdygroan im well aware of the idea of people who happen to be good friends then poke fun at each other, whether its needling each other gently with charm and wit and whatnot, ive seen celebrity roasts where this takes place. On those.occasions, it is much easier to see the fun and camaraderie of it all because the person being roasted isnt getting up out of their chair to stop the whole show in order to stop the roasting from continuing. In addition, if Nicholas is so keen on the audience being entertained, he would just let the panelist get on with it and not try to stop them. And while there have been a few times when Nick has actually allowed it to take place, the fact is that he actively kills the comedy with the way he stops the roasting and.comes across looking like, and i hate to use this term, a precious snowflake. Never mind the times hes dished out innumerable insults to the panelists, and it becomes this case of 'he can dish it out, but he cant take it'. And therein lies the problem. I mean, look at Clive Anderson and the numerous times he got sent up on Whose Line? He didnt respomd with abject horror and outrage, he laughed it off. Nicholas never did this, not once.
1:58:14 we seem to be approaching a point where Andree's importance and ability to be heard on the show is fading cuz it seems.nothing she says or does is allowed anymore to make a difference. And the episode itself doesnt seem to be terribly funny anyway and at one point old Nick tells peter to be quiet.
Somethibg else i hate is how Nicholas makes these stupid puns in relation to the challenges people make and how pompous and arrogant, condescending and patronizing he is
Theyre all very close and theyre all very much behind....... This what always annoys me about Nick, how he makes a complete dogs dinner of the english language, doesnt make any sense, and yet acts as though everything he says is the most sensible and logical thing in the world.
