    I like the fact you unplugged the subwoofer in order to compare. I was wondering in getting the 2.0 or the 2.1 version 👍
    EDIT: Ended up getting the 2.0, since I didn't want the extra space taken by the subwoofer. Quite glad with the purchase. I use it in order to work from home without the need of a headset. When I use it for music, the quality is pretty good as well. Totally worth it for the price it was 👌

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  3 года назад +3

      Glad it helped, although that won't be a direct result of how the 2.0 would sound, as it'll automatically direct bass back into the drivers; rather than pass the signal down to the sub - still the sub adds a good weight to it :)

  • @JoshuaBarrio
    @JoshuaBarrio 5 лет назад +12

    The satellite speakers don't have the passive radiators like the 2.0 version.

    • @apymv6128
      @apymv6128 3 года назад +1

      And that actually makes the sound of satellites in this version even better. First I purchased the white version ones without the woofer. I like the clarity but the passive radiators do nothing. The more you increase tue volume in the hope of getting more bass the bass gets thinner and thinner. This is true for every system with passive radiators. The 2.1 does the opposite. The more you increase the volume the bass increases and the active satelites also sound better because of less boxiness in sound

    • @Malicio7
      @Malicio7 3 года назад

      @@apymv6128 would you say the 2.1 sounds better overall than the 2.0? I'm trying to decide between Pebble Plus (2.1) and Pebble v3 (2.0).

    • @apymv6128
      @apymv6128 3 года назад +2

      @@Malicio7 Peblle v3 should be louder and have more refined sound, due to more power going to the satellites alone. They even increased the driver size, so you should get better bass than V1 or 2.. but if you can cope with the low volume of 2.1, then there's hard to beat the subwoofer for bass.

      @@i-am-mercurial while the connector used for line out outputs is the same as the connector used for most headphone outputs, the signal strength will be different. Line out levels are typically not able to be adjusted so the volume will only be able to be adjusted from the device receiving the audio. When using the headphone output, the volume can be adjusted from the audio source such as the PC in the example above.

    I've been trying to find a review online for these speakers for FPS gaming and everyone only talks about music. I really don't care how they play music. I will only be watching RUclips and playing FPS games like Battlefield. Can you tell how well they do in FPS games especially with the bass? Thanks
