The only person I've ever seen use magnets! Great job! I made that picture with spray paint cans
I am glad you like it, thanks for watching.
That is awesome! I am extremely interested in cricuit stencils. I am into 1/25 scale modeling and i would live to learn how to use my cricuit machine for that! Thanks for the video 😎👍
that sir is the most fantastic thing i have ever seen thank you very much you get 10 stars for that
Thanks, David. I'm glad you liked the video. Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
😯Thank you for showing me that magnet trick for holding 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Mike, I am glad I could help. Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
I want to learn how to make the stencils to do this... your brilliant....
Great masking and painting technique! For custom images you can save yourself the days and weeks by using Bay Stencil--it turns any image into a bridged, multi-layer SVG that you can cut on your Cricut. Thanks for the video.
Cool. I will check it out.
Look into neodymium magnets (also called earth magnets), come in super small sizes and are super strong. Might help a ton with intricate designs. Awesome piece!
Thanks, Grinding4Gems. I will look into that. Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
Great work why not add a mist of black and light out line of black but great work
Thank you for the comment, and thanks for watching.
I found this same artwork looking up religious references, and I tried it free-hand. I wish I had found this video before then. Still extremely helpful
Christian, nothing wrong with freehand. I normally would just make a paper mask and freehand it as well. I never used a multi layer stencil before and I had some request so when I found it for three dollars I figured I'd give it a try. Glad you found it helpful. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
Omg this is such a great video topic. Took me forever to learn this. Knocked it out of the park again man!
Brian, thanks. So glad you liked it. And as always thanks for watching.
Hi I would love to do this. I tried the link but it must be broken. You did an Amazing job.
This is great. I design detailed multi layer stencils like this. I normally do street art and graffiti. If you want to try my stencils let me know and I'll send you a free download code.
Hey that would be cool, just beginning to make my own stencils ;-)
Can I get a link to your website or Etsy please? I’m interested in a custom multi layer stencil of some athletes
Hi @stencildoctor . Please send me a link to your stencils
I'd be down to mess with some stuff, and maybe buy some stuff/hire you for custom design
Hi I would like the code please
OMG you are so awesome, I have learned so much from you and your channel. Keep up the awesome work. Thanks again.
That is so nice of you to say. I am glad you are enjoying the channel. Thanks for watching.
Your the man.
I wish you show how you made the stencils to get the neg and pos on the cricut design space
Andrew, I purchased this stencil online, I see it is no longer available, but I do have a video on the channel that shows how to layer in Design Space. Check it out if you get a chance. Thanks for watching.
ooooohhh very nice artwork
Awesome
this was a great video. thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Outstanding
Thank you Tracey
I thought u we’re stenciling heath ledger joker 😂
I know how to cut a plain stencil, do you have a video to show how to make a layered one on cricut?
Jacob, I do not. I started, and for it easier, it was easier for $3 just to buy one. Lol, I will put it on the list to do. Thanks for the question and thanks for watching.
I really struggle with lining up masks perfectly.
That's where I find the use of registration marks very helpful.
Wow,great job, great video, TFS
Cali Girl, thanks for the nice comment. glad you liked the video. Thanks for watching.
Thanks
Great video bro keep it up
Broskies, much appreciate it, thanks.
Please do a tutorial on how you chose the 6 layers for this file. I bought this file and need to create what you did.
Can you tell me or make a video of how to make the stencil and cut out on cricut design space?
Here are videos I did on the topics you mentioned. ruclips.net/video/j2H5IAkRzds/видео.html
ruclips.net/video/Z0Ois2i-g1g/видео.html
Awesome video, where did you get the little magnets?
Wasup fool, here is a link for the Magnets. amzn.to/3uRS6h0
I also have a video on the metal backer board. Thanks for the question, and thanks for watching.
I need to know how you organise your stencils to know which ones to paint over first ect
Not many RUclips videos out there talking about multi layer stencil work or at least I can't find any, any tips on ☝🏻 would be helpful as I want to get into painting bikes and MTB stuff, a lot of that is multi layering stencils
Kaine, I labeled them 1 thru 6. It really depends on how they were created. If you buy the stencil, it should tell you the sequence. If you create it, well, then it's up to you.
Can you do a video regarding using the cricut software to print these out?
Riley, I do have a video in cutting 4 mil mylar and a video on cutting 7 mil mylar. As for cutting this particular stencil I bought it on Esty (no longer available) put the files in my Design space and cut them. Thanks for the question and thanks for watching.
hi, which blade do you use to cut stencils? knife blade, or black blade? Thank you
Freddy, just the regular knife blade. Just make sure your pressure is set to more.
awesome
Stencils link doesn’t work ….
Nick, the link is to Etsy, where I bought it. I believe Etsy has since pulled it, and it is not available anymore. I will see if I can post the file I have. Give me a few days, and I will see what I can do.
@@TheAirbrushGarage thank you!
Also whats the music? i'm curious
CJ, it's called "Enjoy the Ride". It's copywrite free music.
How big does the cricket cut images to?
EY, everything I have ever researched lists the Cut area as 11.5" x 23.5" after that you have to create a splice.
Thats awesome but you didn't show us how to use the cricut to make the stencils. You just showed us on how to airbrush the stencils?
Julie, as I said, it was easier to buy it for 3 dollars. Lol. I have tried to create multi layered stencils in Design Space and it is quite an extensive and time-consuming task. I am going to look for a program that will layer pictures and then put them into Design Space to cut. Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching
Do you make multi-layer stencils
Sorvino, only for personal use. Thank you for the question, and thanks for watching.
Dammit! I bought a Silhouette!
CS, I heard they work good too. I just don't have any experience with them.
@@TheAirbrushGarage Bought a Xtools P2 55 Watt CO2 Laser. I can cut 10 mil mylar now easy.
Hey brother hope everything is still going well with you and your family.. my question..painting lure blanks to help keep from getting scratches do u use the createx top coat gloss. If not what to use..
Hi Jeff, the createx Clears are not designed for exterior use. I only use them as a carrier for my candy 2o. I would rather use a can clear over my interior works and for exterior a 2k clear. If you had a bunch of lures ready for cleat I would spend the 20 dollars and buy the 2k clear in a can it will last for a couple of days. I like the spray max. 2k is a two part clear and hardener. Hope this helps and thanks for the question and thanks for watching.
@@TheAirbrushGarage im sorry brother I didn't explain it clearly. I was asking about using a top coat to cover what u had painted to use a cover stencil to had other colors to keep from scratching with netting clips.. I apologize if I'm not asking the right question.. my over all clear coat choice is dipping in kbs diamond clear coat for a finished product.. sorry brother all knew at this lure airbrushing
@@TheAirbrushGarage and one more question and I want bother you anymore today. Lol.. im getting ready to buy all the createx paints that I want . Like. Your. Opaque. Trans. Pearls. Fluorescent. Detail. And candy. Havnt decided on the metallic yet. But leaning that way.. so far it around 100 bottles.. 5-6 hundred bucks worth anyway. I been doing taxidermy for over thirty years. Lure painting is knew. But I don't half-way do something when I got it in my mind to do it.. thanks for responding and thanks for your patience and knowledge.
@@jeffbyrd2803 ah...if I want to protect my work between layers then yes it could be used. I don't usually see the need to do this. I usually only use their clear for two things... first as a carrier for the candy 2o and an inter coat between candy 2o layers to prevent Bleed through otherwise i don't really use it.
@@TheAirbrushGarage . Last question. Is Spray Gunner. The best and cheapest supplier for the createx paint supply
Hello everyone I’m new to cricut maker 3 and airbrushing. I’m still trying to learn how to make layers I found a free program called gimp 2.10.32 not sure if anyone knows anything about
it ? Anyhow I spend my free time watching videos on airbrushing and how to make stencils but is there really any easy way to make layers ? Or some type of program for windows that is simple to use ?
Brandon, I don't know of any. I tried and when I found it online for $3 it was just way easier and worth it. Sorry I can not be of more help. If you find a program or an easy way to make a 6 layer or any layer for that matter stencil please let me know. Thanks.
Try 4 layer stencil please 🤔
Gull, will do. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
@@TheAirbrushGarage Appreciate you dude!! Have you ever tried one color halftone line stencil?
@@xgull429 I have not. Never heard of it. Can you send me an example?
@@TheAirbrushGarage yes please share your email or any other source where i can send you an example 🥂

Need this for a morbius football cleet custom
I really like the idea of layering, but believe me, it would be a lot better if you take drawing classes, so you can really identify just by looking the image and then apply the masks on it really needs.
And it looks more artistic or realistic too.
John, have you seen the other videos on the channel? This was the first time I ever tried such a technique. Got some request from viewers for such a video so I thought I would give it a try. Also there is a second part to this video where I demonstrate on how to make it look less "stencilized". Thanks for the comments and thanks for watching.
Good morning brother. I hope you and your family have a great and safe Easter. Byrd TAXIDERMY
Thank you Jeff. Happy Easter to you and your family as well.
that's a really good depiction of Cesare Borgia, couldn't be that jesus character when the letter j wasn't even invented until 2nd century a.d. and in that area he would have been a middle eastern man. great air brushing none the less.
