What I hate about these split up documentaries is that there’s always vital parts missing

Such as "slow train","every grain of sand "
"In the summertime "which in my opinion belong among. his top ten

I love how at 5:31 he gets defensive and goes right into dogma regurgitation form. We're all thankful that that was just a phase. Thank god for Shot of Love and Infidels.

Imagine someone telling you the plain truth about it all, and it gets called ''dogma regurgitation form''

In his early years... Yes. Bob was one to rebel and resist against authority. One that was of Satan's tyranny running this world. That is what Bob Dylan started off resisting and people were attracted to.... Now, to the present. To the Lord? Bobby presented a different authority. An authority that is also demanding. Yet, an authority that is filled with mercy and the power of grace. Giving us the power within to enable us to become what is demanded of us. Bob was not going to resist that kind of authority. For that kind of authority is one of perfect love and strength residing in the inner man where we all live and breathe freedom, or slavery. We will have to serve somebody was clarifying that we do not have only one choice.

If you stand up to *corrupt" authority.... For a Christian, you are serving the Lord. There is nothing wrong with serving the one who created you. Created you to be happy to be serving Him. People can not understand having a perfect Lord over you. He He tells you not to do something? Its because He knows it will destroy the happiness He wants to in time instill by grace.

It definitely IS a line in the sand. You don't get it bro. Jesus stood up to power too. And He said the same thing. Where do you think Bob got it?!

Dylan knows the score, and here he is telling younwhat it is. What i dont understand is how he was unsaved, gets saved, then goes unsaved again. Maybe he knew it was hopeless for him. He told ed bradley he sold his soul to the devil, the leader of this world we all know who that is so does dylan, but what i mean is dylan puts the eye of horus in a two story banner behind him for years. Actually makes it his logo. That tells you who he serves right there

Dylan didn't go from being unsaved, to being saved, and then to being unsaved again. He got saved and has stayed there ever since. It may be that people think Dylan isn't Christian now because he doesn't write about his Christian views in his songs anymore, but I think that like many new converts to Christianity, his newly discovered passion just mellowed over time and he had less of a need to write about it. Many people criticized Dylan for the Christian content of his songs during that period, and I think as a reaction, he might have toned his views down or buried the meaning deeper to avoid arousing more criticism.
You take various stages of Dylan's life out of context, looking at events in a mixed up chronological order. You point to his use of the eye of Horus as evidence of a non-Christian perspective, but Dylan wasn't a Christian during the time he used that symbol. He used it as a stage backdrop during the Rolling Thunder Revue in the early 1970s. His born again phase began in the 1980s.
Dylan did not tell Ed Bradley that he sold his soul to the devil, the leader of this world. The transcript of the interview is on the CBS website, and nowhere in the transcript does he say that. What Dylan does say is this: "It goes back to that destiny thing. I mean, I made a bargain with it, you know, a long time ago. And I'm holding up my end...to get where I am now."
Bradley then asks Dylan who he made the bargain with. Dylan says, "with the chief commander. . .in this earth and in the world we can't see." I've never heard anyone refer to the devil as the chief commander. The devil (if you believe in him) only commands those who serve him in hell. According to the Christian theology Dylan seems to believe in, God made the world and is commander over all things "in this earth and in the world we can't see."
So the connections you're trying to establish between statements made in this video and Dylan's total corruption are not as plain or clear as you would like them to be. I've seen this same claim made all over RUclips on any page that features a Dylan song. If people would just practice better reading habits and pay closer attention to what is really being said, then I wouldn't have to go around setting people straight and I could just enjoy listening to the music I like. [Sigh] (^•^)y
