I know this video is 2yrs old, however, you just put my mind at ease about buying this wiring kit. I’m wiring up a 72 Maverick and one thing I did was flipped the wires at the fuse block so they come out the top and the labels are right side up. Sounds like you haven’t had any issues and that’s a good thing in my book. I’m going to run led head and taillights and not expecting any issues. Thanks for sharing your opinion and the tutorial on the harness.
Glad it was helpful!
Ive had this sitting in my garage for about 3 months now..I have no experience in electrical wiring, but you give me hope!
Great video. You just helped me decide what wiring harness to purchase for my 98 Silverado LS swap.
Great!! Exactly why this video exists. Thanks for watching.
Yeah, terrified of wiring describes me. Looking forward to seeing you install that. I'm gonna mimic this on my 64. Thanks for the comprehensive breakdown in all your videos.
Great video! Very well laid out!
Thanks!
I just found your channel and I like what I saw and I Subéd and Liked it too. I just got my Speedway Wiring Harness. I have to change a few wires around as my truck isn't quite the same as a regular pickup. I was very impressed with mine also. I hope to start my wiring this Saturday🤞Good Luck with your project.
Excellent! Mine is all finished now.
Nice vid!
Would like to replace the harness in my '77 Big10, but not sure if I should use the 12 or 22 circuit. Don't have power windows, power locks, AC or a CB radio. Not even a dome light, but would like to have the option to add one. The 22 circuit has a lot of extras and is only $10 more than the 12, so I'm leaning towards the 22. Pretty sure you'd suggest the 22 circuit. I'm totally new to all this and welcome your suggestions, questions and answers. Thank you for the great review and tutorial. Cheers
I’d probably use the 12. Otherwise, you’ll have a LOT of wire loops just tied up under the dash.
Looks like I'm getting this for my custom build 50 hudson
is there a universal kit for a mustang 1966 columm socket?

Can i run my electric choke wire to the accessory feed wire connector?
That’s hot even on accy. Use an ignition on only power supply
@@GreaseMonkeyTV so I have a 12v ignition running to the Bat. Side of my HEI distributor,I have the alternator ignition wire. My fan feed wire that's running into the fuse for the electric fans..can I tap into any of these for the electric choke?
@@mototrxsr3846 Alternator exciter wire would be fine. Are you running a relay at the fans? The + supply needs to be a pretty heavy wire ran from the battery with a fuse in-line near the positive batt terminal. the wire from the fuse box should go to one side of a temp switch. the other side of the temp switch will be the switching side to the relay.
@@GreaseMonkeyTV I'm running a 40-60amp fan relay kit with circuit breaker and temp sensor
What headers did you use for the ls m your f100 ,thanks
Patriot block huggers. Entire build is on this channel.
@@GreaseMonkeyTV ok thank you I’ll check all the videos out
Does the factory for headlight knob/shaft work on the speedway switch?
It does fit. However, it’s shorter than the speedway shaft and wouldn’t go in far enough to turn the park lamps off. Thanks for watching!
@@GreaseMonkeyTV
Thanks for getting back to me. I wonder if just the knob cant be swapped onto the speedway shaft? Does speedways unscrew?
@@ninja63639 yes speedway knob is removable. My Ford one isn’t though
@@GreaseMonkeyTV
Oh really? I didn't realize the factory one didn't come off
