do you have a page that you share your design work? I'm studying industrial design in Brisbane Australia and love looking at other peoples takes when it comes to styles.
The black tank with the red orange and yellow took me back to a 78 Z1R turbo that I bought when I got out of the army in 1980, that bike was crazy fast but lacked in handling in anything other than a straight line. The turbo lag when you rolled on damn near dumped you over the front end and then about dumped you off the back as it kicked in.
Love this video. Do you happen to know the name of the paint chip colors for: --White and Baby Blue? --LeMans light blue, orange, dark blue and white? --Is the top coat gloss or matte gloss?
Hey, a couple of questions 1. I''ve watched a number of "fork Shortening" videos, and in many of them the spring is not cut, like when you did the Suzuki, there is mearley a spacer used? Am I right about this, and does it stiffen the front suspension leaving the spring un-cut? Wouldn't that (stiffer) be a good thing in a motorcycle that is 35 yrs, old? Also, is it possible to shorten the forks by raising them up through the triple, all though aesthetically not as "hip"? 2. In terms of design, I've recently learned of frames that have a V-shape to them, and I had once heard that older Kawasakis (mine's an '83 550 ltd) are not a great choice for a cafe because of this V-shape, is that why some choose to raise the back of the tank a little (or is that a thing). I'm getting ready to start, and am a tiny bit confused still. I'm not sure if the V-shape thing pertains to me or not. thanks
+Colin Patience in terms of v shaped frames. I think you can create a cafe from any shaped frame, from the CX to the GS I have are both completely different frames but both work. With the forks, I've moved them up the triple tree as well ash shortening them inside. You can leave your springs the same if you wish or change to progressive springs, all your preference to be honest on how you like your ride. I don't think there can be one 'for for all' answer. But for sure, if you're used to riding newer bikes then the old forks will be a hue difference for you. I guess it's why so many people change to GSXR fronts
jish thank god, its been so long since your last vid on it, i honestly wondered if you'd given up! With so many unfinished cafe racer projects on ebay i was worried yours would be joining them!
What bike builds are you following on youtube? I think a top 5(or 10) youtube bike builds video would be an awesome way to acknowledge and help the channels that you watch...plus I need to find more sources of bike projects for my subscription feed ;)
Also, look up "Born Free Invited Builders". Those guys build choppers, so if you're only into cafe racers, you may not like the bikes, but the craftsmanship, engineering, and passion are undeniable. I've gotten so much inspiration from those builders.
Judson L, I love making things and watching others make things. My bike project is weird as hell, so it doesn't bother me at all if they are building choppers so long as they're making some good stuff. I'll check them out. Also, does Blitz have an actual channel? I'm able to find some videos on blitz, but can't locate a blitz channel. Thanks for the recommendations!
I have a Vento Rebellian 200 (I know is not that much, I really love my motorcycle) I really love how look the cafe racers can anyone just look at that model and tell me if is a good idea start with the proyect? I'm just starting with making some designs of how could look and I really love it but i'm scared about the critics (I want some constructive ones) (I would really appreciate that)
+Danni Mazariegos I'm sure it could be done. I'm not sure if the frame shape at the rear as it looks more cruiser as standard son might need some welding to get that cafe look
Thanks for response me and I know, it could be easier to make a bobber style but I really don't like that haha I think I'm just gonna need a little bit more effort and make a really good work to given that straight line in the frame shape but after all I know it's gonna worth it.
Yeah the frame shape it's the first think I got to fix, but for now I'm just making some designs and thinking in all that I want my motorcycle have, you know, some details, colors and that stuff (while I save some money also). Now that we are talking (and I'm sorry if I'm overtaking the confidence xD). Do you think is a good idea put thermal velocity wrap in the exhaust? It really works? Or is just for the look?
+Danni Mazariegos I've seen a lot of haters out there for the wraps. I'm not one of them. Even if there isn't any or little gain visually they look good. I'll be doing it to both my bikes
My honda ns 125r is orange, nothing really worth shouting about compared to some bikes, not my choice of colour, i bought it like that!. It was my dream bike when i was at school, so ive bought 2 of them, 1 is a full on project, the other (the orange 1) just needs some petrol putting in it (as far as i can tell) i really should get round to doing that! check my video out if you like!
For the bold - dreegez British racing green would be nice but the problem with light greens is its predominantly a kawasaki colour, so i personally wouldn't put it on anything but a kwacker!
WANT A TATTOO, which is Stupid. just have one that says ''TATTOO'' the 5k old ''iceman'' has tattoos. ....... no color , color my fav. raw steel or raw steel vinyl wrap. like you..........carry on.
+Arlandah Goinkhoser progress is slow but getting there. So much to do on them and so much to spend so these videos fill in the holes without going weeks and no videos
To be honest the top 5 thing is getting staid. I started watching and subbed because I was interested in the builds , but the vids have now become less about those. No builds - loss of interest to be honest. I've unsubscribed.
do you have a page that you share your design work? I'm studying industrial design in Brisbane Australia and love looking at other peoples takes when it comes to styles.
+Liam Hawkins yeah I have a work in progress at www.forthebold.co.uk and instagram is @fortheboldcreative
2:18 who made that bike? I couldn't understand the builder's name when you said it
Cognito Moto
The black tank with the red orange and yellow took me back to a 78 Z1R turbo that I bought when I got out of the army in 1980, that bike was crazy fast but lacked in handling in anything other than a straight line. +rmillermann sounds awesome. Needed some guts to handle it by the sounds of it
I was wondering if you had considered doing your own powder coating, the main problem being fabbing an oven large enough for a frame.\
+rmillermann I wish I could and have looked into them. But yeah the large oven is a problem for space
Which paint color will give me the most horsepower, and will I have to change my jetting for it?
I’d say black. But to give it that extra speed gloss coat for aerodynamics
Love this video. Do you happen to know the name of the paint chip colors for:
--White and Baby Blue?
--LeMans light blue, orange, dark blue and white?
--Is the top coat gloss or matte gloss?
Sorry I don't know what the accurate colours are.

almost went with the Le Mans colour with mine... but iv settled on something else ;)
Jish hurry up and let's see it ...Can't wait👍
+Jish I liked how it looked in the last video
In good time! Plans are taking place!
jish thank god, its been so long since your last vid on it, i honestly wondered if you'd given up! With so many unfinished cafe racer projects on ebay i was worried yours would be joining them!
the gaming toy boy dont worry mate i dont give up that easily 😉
what do you think of bare aluminum/steel tanks?
I like them, it's what's being done to the CB750
Can you make full bike review video on the 2
Bike
Sorry I don't have access to it to review
What bike builds are you following on youtube? I think a top 5(or 10) youtube bike builds video would be an awesome way to acknowledge and help the channels that you watch...plus I need to find more sources of bike projects for my subscription feed ;)
+furnimaker try Blitz motorcycles. Dime city cycles. Jish. I'll have a look more later for you
I second what he says about Blitz. I can't recommend them enough. They are GREAT
Also, look up "Born Free Invited Builders". Those guys build choppers, so if you're only into cafe racers, you may not like the bikes, but the craftsmanship, engineering, and passion are undeniable. I've gotten so much inspiration from those builders.
I'm already subscribed to jish. I'll check out blitz and revisit dime city. Thanks for the bold

The Tricolor ... where is from? I didn't´t understand it. Who is the builder?
The builder is Cognito Moto
what is the gas tank model of the second bike
How are you making out on jetting the gs?
+Rob Green shims this week the. Install the dynotek once that's arrived from America. Then I can see if it all goes together sweet enough
The perfect coffee break video thanks
+Jritchie Jritchie great stuff
Nice one
Thank you!
Thanks to you too
Well, for the red, blue, white... not just BMW... if you remember Martini Racing (they used these colors on Lancias and Porsches...)
Good call, how can I forget the beast of that Lancia Integrale
As Natasha Kinski said in that movie: "Yep, I know your feelings"
I have a Vento Rebellian 200 (I know is not that much, I really love my motorcycle) I really love how look the cafe racers can anyone just look at that model and tell me if is a good idea start with the proyect?

+Danni Mazariegos yeah it's one of those ones that once you strip it to the frame it'll make more sense on what's needed
Do you think is a good idea put
thermal velocity wrap in the exhaust?

Loved the grey orange the gs had
+John McGovern thanks. I fell out of love with it but I think that was due to the tank leaking. Perhaps if I'd have used a different frame colour?
No 2........Beautiful
My honda ns 125r is orange, nothing really worth shouting about compared to some bikes, not my choice of colour, i bought it like that!. all is nice bro..
I fucking knew you were a graphic designer. HA! called it! Right on buddy.
What!? No greens ;) I do like what you had to show, but green is my fav!
+DenisChenard do you know what, I never thought of green, classic British racing also. Nice point
For the bold - dreegez British racing green would be nice but the problem with light greens is its predominantly a kawasaki colour, so i personally wouldn't put it on anything but a kwacker!
+the gaming toy boy good point
Most bikers believe green bikes are bad luck, you are gonna die Ina green bike... so avoid that on motorcycle design
how do you clean the rust inside the tank.
You can use POR 15, see this video here
ruclips.net/video/kFiBHAklMwc/видео.html
Electrolysis...
Burgundy, Mustard and Navy.
Nice
WANT A TATTOO, which is Stupid. just have one that says ''TATTOO'' the 5k old ''iceman'' has tattoos. ....... no color , color my fav. raw steel or raw steel vinyl wrap.
like you..........carry on.
get a tattoo !
No thanks.
How about some progress videos of your bikes instead of these half boring topics
Arlandah Goinkhoser both of them are at the powder coaters
+Arlandah Goinkhoser progress is slow but getting there. So much to do on them and so much to spend so these videos fill in the holes without going weeks and no videos

+Blue Lines that's fair enough. I can't force you to like them.
