I just taught Macbeth to my students, and I told them that I guaranteed that they'd see a reference to the play somewhere in their life. Shoutout to Eddie for proving my point.
RJ's other interviews were decent and all, but this might be one of my favorite interviews of all time, wrestling or otherwise. I feel like Eddie was just told he had an interview and had no idea it was satirical and that made it 1000% better.
The best part is they've done a few interviews before so it's a combination of RJ knowing how to frame his questions and Eddie staying true to himself!
RJ was terrified of Hook but incredibly brave with taunting Eddie Kingston. I thought this was going to lead to a match, or maybe even an old fashioned backstage "donnybrook". Swerved.
@@juliuspryce8514 1) That wasn't even a coherent sentence. 2) RJ is hilarious and if you don't think so, humor is subjective. Different people find different things funny.
RJ the plucky young rookie turns to the girzzled old jaded veteran Eddie to train him for his return to the ring and they learn to understand each other along the way 😂
“You could use a simpler word” I GOT IT. I FINALLY GOT IT. I figured it out, Eddie Kingston is the Ernest Hemingway of wrestling. I love that, very proud of me.
This was the funniest one yet. The LUGZ line was hilarious knowing damn well they are Timbalands. This RJ guy (never heard of him till these AEW videos) is pretty witty and sharp with it.
Eddie is killing me with the glances at the camera. It's like he's asking for help with this guy and all I can do is shrug. Also the winking, the winking is very good.
"Would it be fair to say your the Rodney Dangerfield of wrestling?" "I'll take that, yeah." "Do the tie adjustment thing." "Nah I'm good." God the dynamic between these 2 is genuinely priceless lmfao
I have been an Eddie fan for over 15 years. I watched him live in Ontario many times. I especially loved his strap match with Larry Sweeney. It is nice to finally see more people appreciate how awesomel he is.
Just put the damn title on this dude already, the embodiment of AEW. I've been down since the very first time he walked on stage to challenge Cody for that TNT title, that promo sent chills down my spine. What a man!!!
Definitely dude, I was covered in my own gooey life shake the first time I saw him, I went from rock hard to softer than a Hawaiian slider roll in no time if you know what I mean.
We hit another level with this one!! 😂 I was getting nerves we literally seeing the series finally of Hey! (Ew) with the looks Eddie was giving. I felt ok when Eddie said “Jesus H!” All right in the world again😂😂😂
This is the greatest thing AEW has ever done. Danielson v Suzuki? Page v Omega? Bucks v Lucha Bros? No. RJ City's talk show on RUclips. 10 star match here.
JESUS H! That is probably my favorite sign-off of any interview ever...the perfect comedic timing of that editing to close out the show was *chef's kiss*
I go to the coffee shop, I get my brekkie, I plop on the couch, and watch RJ City reference LUGZ in 2022 and Eddie Kingston talk Macbeth. “It is a tale, told by an idiot, full of sound and fury signifying nothing.”
There's an episode of RJ Makes Coffee In His Underwear with Eddie from a couple years ago. Highly recommend watching it. These two are so funny together
This was freaking hilarious!!! I love you Edward!!! HE needs his own podcast and RUclips channel. I love his realness. He is just being himself...I would love to meet him..
We ain’t no good guys, never were, but that’s doesn’t mean the future needs to go through the BS we faced .. As Eddie says and lives, it’s our responsibility to make the lights brighter for rest .. Nothing but Happiness to you Eddie ..
Had to rewatch it after the recent Meal and a Match video. Eddie and RJ are the most diametrically opposed odd couple possible. This has aged like fine wine.
Eddie Kingston getting angry about Macbeth and Shakespeare is something I didn't know I genuinely needed in my life 🤣🤣
Ironically enough he'll be here in 3 weeks...😉
I'm pretty sure he was trying to recite the passage about raging against the dying of the light which is a great passage

They have such great chemistry, like a younger man trying to annoy his dad at his work
Also it’s crazy that RJ City has chemistry with everyone
yes
His first couple appearances on the pre shows were absolutely painful to watch 😂
“What is the key to faking that?”
Eddie’s reaction was genuine for a split second. That was good all around.
When RJ said "That's Annie." so calmly and quickly, I literally stopped in my tracks to laugh out loud.
I didn't understand what you meant until I saw it and laughed so hard I fail out of my chair especially at the look of Eddie's face
Also, the conversation about shoes and camping got me too
Choked on my drink with the Lugz reference.
I legit forgot about lugz, lol. But, that was such a nice stab tho.
Lmao yo Lugz were the shit when I was in middle school
Oh shit it's RGT!
"You can still wrestle and go to therapy, you've got the time!" This is some good sh!t, I love this content.
The comedic timing they have is top notch.
RJ and Eddie are just both kings for not just busting out laughing.
Hilarious 😂
Yeah
Eddie did laugh so
I was wondering how Eddie was holding it in so well before I remembered that he was one of the top guys in CHIKARA so he's probably used to it.
Truth. I would have broken so many times. Maybe the editor is just that good.
Eddie Kingston truly is the Roddy Dangerfield of pro wrestling. The version from Natural Born Killers, that is.
I can see that.
And I love it.
Ew.
Who the hell is Roddy Dangerfield?? It's Rodney. No respect I tell ya.
Incredible comparison
Man Eddie's way too wholesome for that. Rodney's disgusting in that movie lol
I love Eddie Kingston. He's a beautiful man with a beautiful soul. He needs to be world champion soon.💚
And beautiful eyebrows.
This is why we love Eddie.
RJ's other interviews were decent and all, but this might be one of my favorite interviews of all time, wrestling or otherwise. I feel like Eddie was just told he had an interview and had no idea it was satirical and that made it 1000% better.
Kingston was on RJ Makes Coffee in his Underwear awhile back. They just have natural chemistry together. A must watch.
The best part is they've done a few interviews before so it's a combination of RJ knowing how to frame his questions and Eddie staying true to himself!
The Danhausen one was great imo
RJ was terrified of Hook but incredibly brave with taunting Eddie Kingston. I thought this was going to lead to a match, or maybe even an old fashioned backstage "donnybrook". Swerved.
Starting 2 think aew uses bot accounts like Andy here to validate why RJ is nothing but terrible

Uncle Eddie is getting better doing the interviews. Hasn't crushed a single Oreo once.

I hope he doesn't go hunting nazi uboats with grenades tbh
"I'm getting paid for this, right?"
🤣🤣🤣
This was so good. Please give us more Rj city! He is the best ! His chemistry with everyone is soooo golden.
The last part "I hope you spin back here and fist me soon" killed me xD What a fantastic interview.
I've loved every one of RJ's HEY (EW) shows, but this is the first one that I've had to rewatch twice because I was crying laughing. 🤣🤣
Me too
To me it feels like Eddie never really looks at RJ because he knows as soon as he does, he's just gonna bust out laughing.
Love Eddie because he's genuine that's something today comes few and far between..not fake
💯!!!
This was the funniest one yet. The LUGZ line was hilarious knowing damn well they are Timbalands. This RJ guy (never heard of him till these AEW videos) is pretty witty and sharp with it.
No he sounds clueless and racist
"Are those lugz?" I've been bingeing these and RJ you are a treasure!!
As a New Yorker I wanted Eddie to put RJ through that table when he mistook Timbs for Lugz.
🤣🤣🤣
Eddie’s face said it all lmaoooo
Not Lugz, RJ 🤣

This is one of the reasons why I love Eddie Kingston he just makes me laugh and he's a great wrestler
Dare I say, Eddie Kingston is the greatest AEW signing to date...
This is hands down one of the funniest segments AEW has ever done. To no surprise its with Eddie. I could watch these two for hours.

Ok, this is the best ep of these so far. XD Love it.
I feel like RJ is channeling a lot of David Cross in Arrested Development, and I'm ok with that.
It's essentially David Cross hosting Between Two Ferns. Which I didn't think that was possible.
