Been a while since he interviewed anyone either. Usually just introduces them and waits for them to snatch the mic so he can stand in the corner until they’re done
Tony Schiavone disappeared for years until around 2015 when he did JR'S original podcast and then he went on Ric Flairs original podcast and little by little he moved closer and closer to getting back in the business and when Conrad approached him in late 2016 and started WHW we got to hear Tony every week we all had a new appreciation of him and that led to MLW and then the rest is history...nobody ever hated Tony he just became the voice of a bad WCW the last 2 years over there, none of which was his fault
I have so much love for Tony. Such a genuine, down to earth, warm human being. Wonderful to hear him every week, God bless you and your family sir xxxxxxxx
AEW being under the Warner Media umbrella implies the fact that Kenny Omega can be in the Multiverses game coming out and could beat Batman and Superman and that alone would make me get the game
Tony Schiavone is one of the greatest Wrestling commentators on the planet he is really fantastic i love him and this interview with Tony Schiavone and RJ is really hilarious really cool 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
R.J does such an amazing job with these. You really find out who is comfortable in their own skin and true to themselves. The awkwardness we get otherwise (like this one) pays off in comedic genius. *The way he looked at the camera when Schiavaone actually said Starbucks. I'm dead
RJ City is such a loveable dude, I'm glad he was given this show Hey! (EW) to interview and chat it up with the workers & personnel of the company, the Schiavone interview has to be top ranked amongst the best imho.
When Tony left WCW when it folded, I listen to Tony on a.m. radio to give the sports in the weather in Dayton Ohio for years and years. So I never really got to miss Tony, which was a good thing I love listening to Tony.
RJ did great talking to Tony and Tony is a cool guy also Tony and Eddie went to the movie with one of there guys that’s cool and Tony have some epic moments
RJ having a perfectly nice pleasant interview the whole way through the video and only remembering to get his schtick in at the end made it feel extra mean. Still, a good interview though.
This really feels like when a young boy doesn’t know how to tell a girl he likes them so he’s just really mean to them I think RJ was nervous in the presence of wrestling history and got a little harsh lol
It's been a long time since Tony Schiavone got to be interviewed for once. Way to go, RJ.

I can’t wait for Tony’s heel turn
RJ never missing an opportunity to sneak in a dig at Arquette 😄
"Whats short for Anthony?"
"Anth?"
"Yooooou got it, it's Tony."
RJ City is the most quick witted person in AEW. 🤣
Even funnier how Tony's relatives shortened it to "Ant" 🤣
I don’t get this, please explain.
tony real due
@@jacks910Tony is short for Anthony
@@TyBeTroLLing Oh ok, doesn’t seem really quick witted to me.
I honestly love how everyone always looks so uncomfortable and annoyed. Rj does his job well
heel interviewer
Reminds me of Between Two Ferns
@@adamfloyd7457 wouldn't call him a heel. He's just a kid asking questions. Akward questions but questions none the less
@@c.j.martin717 very much the same vibe. Not sure anyone but rj knows what he is going to say next. Very quick witted guy.

I love Tony Schiavone so much. What an absolute legend.
In all seriousness, this is the most normal interview by RJ in HEY! (EW)
"Hey bitch it's Schiavone" has to be Tony's new greatest line
It has now been upgraded with "Well, speak bitch!"
I have so much love for Tony. Such a genuine, down to earth, warm human being. Wonderful to hear him every week, God bless you and your family sir xxxxxxxx
Tony and JR were the voice of my youth.
This is becoming my favorite thing to watch on Sundays
Ditto
"I loved working at Starbucks."
RJ with his *this fucking guy* expression.

E and W do not have a space between them so it will always be pronounced HEY! (EWWW) to me. Thank you, Danhausen!
Yassss
There's a good throwback to that in the latest Vloghausen. It's great 😄
I'm just waiting on Allie to be on Hey Ew given how much she says ew in her streams and in her vlogs

We don’t deserve the goodness of rj. Or Tony for that matter. Classy men 😍
2:05 I AM IN TEARS LMAO!
This was brilliant. Love these interviews and I learn a ton of new stuff due to RJ's references.
Waiting for the episode with Athena when RJ brings up her loss to Candice in Pokémon Stadium. Athena gonna straight up murder the guy.
Jeez, imagine that
I genuinely didn't know about the coffee shop thing. Imagine going to get your frappuchino & hearing the voice of the man who gave us "THE YET-AY!"
Love the name drop of Burton Cummings...The Guess Who and his early solo stuff are underrated. He had an amazing voice.
Maybe it's just me, but the idea of Eddie Kingston and Tony Schiavone being annoyed by the rocking seats in a 4DX cinema
is funny as hell ...
RJ is a national treasure

I need a sitcom with them as Roomies. The very non original odd couple
Found Tonys alt account
Hey RJ...watched your big wins over Daniel Garcia and David Arquette. Quite impressive!
I love that RJ brought up Ready to Rumble
It has a special place in my heart.
I love rewatching these. The way RJ’s jaw clenches when Tony says “besides this one?” gets me every single time 😂😂😂
At Starbucks. Me "Hey Tony! How is the milk heated up?" Tony "It's STEAMMMMMMEEEED!"
Tony Schiavone was the best actor in "Ready to Rumble."
These RJ interviews are great
These two are gold together! Tony's mullet is coming in nicely.
I love that Tony's pissed at Siri for one-upping him on the Italian pronunciation of his name
I’m starting to re-watch these episodes. This is gold.
I didn't expect to learn anything from this, but here we are.
This was a very wholesome Tony time.
RJ having a perfectly nice pleasant interview the whole way through the video and only remembering to get his schtick in at the end made it feel extra mean. Still, a good interview though.
I like how freaking close the camera is to Tony in the thumbnail lol
Diamonds are forever, and so is Tony Schiavone
2:05 savage Schiavone
It was a different period in time
The good old days 🤘
Loved this interview, the back and forth digs at each other were great.
He digs at himself "ask my wife"
Can we have an episode of Hey! (EW) with Taz & Excalibur ??
Comedy Jones 😂🤣
Dude this has to happen
I wanted 'it's stiiiiiiiiiiiing' at the end 😂
GREAT INTERVIEW Y'ALL
LOVE this series!! I can’t get enough.
Tony has a very "Milton from Office Space" vibe about him these days.
No idea how I missed this one. I love me some Tony!
Tony feels comfortable around 20 year old girls and everyone just thinks he's a silly old man 😅

"Sold my whole life, bud." haha Tony Schiavone, I love you.
Glad to see that Tony has a healthy amount of disdain for RJ.
RJ City don't even have to wrestle, this show is funny asf!
Tony is awesome and deserves more praise.
I actually appreciated the realness that he showed here... the Millennials have a lot in common with the Baby Boomers
What is this thumbnail hahahaha 😂 😂
Genuinely this the hardest to quiz for RJ since Tony is so welcoming and sweet! ♥
That guy Tony has a heck of a voice. He should try announcing.

This was brilliant. Zsa Zsa Gabor! 🤣
Another solid radio gig or whatever, RJ! Keep it up.
rj using za za gabor almost confusing tony is peak old soul. thank you classic television for creating RJ City
I like the actual pronounciation of Tony's last name. Sounds like a gangster.
Spent the entire episode waiting for Team Taz to interrupt...
Conrad Bain reference lmao
I wondered if he would mentioned Mike Tenay
It felt weird that no one interrupted this interview...
